2- 5k Buy and 4-5k sell and 1-100k sell. 120k sold in all which is really speaking sweet Fanny Adams, but what a re-action. The 100k seller must have been a bit frightened on one of the 5k sells. Still confident come Feb the report is going to be bloody good.

Another good deal done to yet another leading comp today. This has to be seen sooner or later for what it is.

Too true, We have discussed this one before and it was pointed out it is not the value NOW its what its going to be. All the acquisition's have been made to make this a very well rounded & interlacing company & with the markets there to do business with. Yes, I for one kicked myself for not selling at around the 50p mark and could not believe it when it continued to fall believing it will "come back next week". It will come back I'm certain & I will be here. Has to the 30% market, I think more simply because they are well ahead of anyone with this technology & because they have made them selfs well rounded with the acqisitions they can pretty much meet any demand in any area. I also think Divi's are only a year away on this one, then see it go!!

Puffin .... but they have aquired multiple business's affecting costs and now have the complete set .... they have superior royalty agreements due to a new Board with more commercial savvy .... they are in a growing market and will have a major market share .... and more importantly .... since when has a current share price, or even the general indexes been based on NOW .... it's always based on what will be .... whether good or bad .... and on this basis .... this is massively undervalued .... On your basis for investment, you would only buy after the event when it is all priced in to the share price .... I'd rather buy when it's discounted PRIOR to the event ....

Chavi .... what I particularly like is the forecast that ARK will have 30% of a £ 10 billion ($19 billion) market .... £ 3 billion turnover (or royalties from) .... also, that royalties have jumped 54% .... a rapidly growing income with zero cost attached to it .... having spoken to Panmure, the historical issues on profitability have been the poor licence negotiations by the previous Board .... all has now changed and the percentages on negotiated royalties have improved five fold .... with Intel in the customer camp, this is excellent news. Their latest aquisition will also prove beneficial in profitabilitly terms as 20% margin is the norm. .... other positive news is that their aquisition trail has now ceased .... there will be no more. From.... 1% margin on £ 3 billion .... £ 30 million .... lowly P/E of 5 .... £ 150 mill Market Cap .... Share Price £ 1 .... up to ..... 5% margin on £ 3 billion .... £ 150 million .... lowly P/E of 5 ....£ 750 mill Market Cap .... Share Price £ 5 .... ...either way, this is massively undervalued .... with multi bag potential ....

There is your answer DAVRON8. Fil Ltd dumped well over 10 million shares. They have gone from holding 11.8m to 920K. Made a nice little come back but there has been some selling today.

Just had a look at the trades & vols. Millions bought & sold, so there was something going on with the mm's. 1,600,000 one to deal with there just for one. Davron8 may be right. see 351. Certainly the early trades no were nears the justification of that 2p drop. Pure manipulation at P.I expense. bloody criminal.

Recon its just market jitters. Arm has drop quite a bit first off so it could well be a fall on the back of it, if you recall Arc went up on the back of it in the first place. Who knows? the mm's are shifty s---- & I for one think what they get away with needs a reckoning.

It may be that the good results from Intel have produced a big order buy and the MM's are trying to shake out some more shares to meet it. Just a thought as there does not seem to be any other reason for a drop of 2pence today.

This should not be this price, if folk don't buy now they will never get in again this low. With the news coming out a bit better now I'm very surprised its still falling and no apparent interest.

I do see what you are saying but as was pointed out by Anjalo:344 the worth isn't in this case what I feel you should be looking at right now, its what it will be worth!! You used the operative word "Acquisition", over time steady but steady they have bought the right thing and as importantly in many purchases the brains and expertise as well. You have a very "well rounded company" now perfectly placed to do probably as they set out to do "Scoop the coop" in all area. Think about what they have bought as well as the brains & how it all knits?

Im no expert but ARCs' technology does look very hi-tech. Gross margins are very high and Ive a feeling ARC could be a highly profitable business sometime in the future. But when? It looked like they were heading towards break-even. But the recent acquisitions have put the kybosh on that! If you take out the interest on cash and the tax credit the business lost £5.3M last year on revenues of £14.4M. They are actually a long way from profitability. I just cant get my head round how little theyve achieved with all the expenditure thats been made over the last 8 years.

Anjalo: Agreed, you have it about right. If we believe the management competent would they invest that much that Hugepants is talking about without a pay off? I think not. This Company has come together well and I think it will see the rewards next year, 2010 latest. I have not looked (been Ill) but the price will have come down on relatively small sales, sales of the impatient. Like some of you folk I am down on this one but I'm sticking.

HugePants, Using the share price in this way, as some kind of intelligent indicator of worth is IMHO not reality for a company like ARC. Since you have obviously done some historical research, try comparing ARC 2003 with ARC 2008 in terms of market cap, cash burn, licenses and products. There is no comparison. The ARC of today is a very well run company with excellent products and low cash burn, yet it had a higher market CAP in 2003, prior to its nose dive to about 13.5p as I remember. I may have the dates slightly wrong but you get my drift. The share price of these low market cap companies is an almost totally irrational thing. It seems to follow some kind of chaos theory, but quality will find a way and in my view this is a quality company. Be patient and the share price may well err in the other direction. All IMHO of course. a

Since floatation in 1999 ARC have posted total losses of £121 million. Total R&D expense is £76 million. And whats the net result of all that expenditure? £14.4 million in revenues and a 2.5 million loss! Stripping out the cash the "business" is now being valued at £16 million. What an abjectly dismal performance.

If this Compactflash doesn't put them well in I don't know what will. This has got to start moving up the way its going. Its a hold for me, I'm in no hurry. I'm confident it will pay in the near future.

Just had a look on Yahoo for the finish price on another of mine & they have ARC 1 year target as 48p with a high of 55p. Looks as if it will be 2010 before they show a profit though on 3 analists opinions. 3 brokers out of 3 recommend BUY though.
