This to me says Arc management is as compitent as they proport to be. This has to be a good move both for the short & long term. This as to be a hold at the very least but a buy right now would a good move for the long term invester. One too tuck into an ISA.

ARC buys Tenison. No news or good news? I note that ARM is one of Tenison's customers.

LIFE!!! A small move up is better than a small move down. Someone still likes it.

IMHO, it went up to 58p on the back of ARM's results, nothing to do with ARC as such. ARC is beginning to look good, so that justifies the 45-50p bracket, but they need to continue to do good to justify more.

wish i had sold at 54p on the 30th now. Just got to hope it comes back as hard and fast as it went down. An announcement they are going to pay a small divi or something of the kind to indicate they are starting to make money would help.

Lets hope so. Gave very serious intension of selling to buy into Trifast (TRI)as I am 99.5% sure they will go like a shot after trading announcement on the 19th June. Recommend a punt.

Market is generally down and there's no recent news flow from ARC. When it resumes they should go up again.

The chart may never lie, but I never have much idea what it is saying.

aussiedonnie,

Well the chart never lies and the smart money needs a new home for liquidated property profits so tech boom II sounds about right.

Well I'd say this is a strong buy IMO given recent license wins/extensions and the fact that ARM is particularly cash heavy at the moment adds to the mix...

swindon george - I hope not !

I bought in Feb 2005 at 40p. I liked the technology of RISC processors and felt their time had come. It has been underwater ever since until now and no dividends. Had been on my sell list but then felt confidence returning in Feb 2007 so did a bit of bottom fishing. I am holding and hoping for alot more despite the meteoric rise of late, but not confident enough to top up further.
