03/4/2007 18:34 | Does ARK get royalties or is it just the licence payment? | relishing
03/4/2007 18:33 | That deal today should definately be seen as ARK finally coming of age, imo. Better late than never, eh! ;-) | hattori_hanzo
03/4/2007 18:25 | According to AFX Closing Features, Evolution also has Arc as a 'buy' with a 60p target. | njl53
03/4/2007 18:13 | AFX news Arc International PLC were higher at the close, 2 up at 48 after the group updated on trading and said it has won a 15 mln usd contract. In reaction Panmure Gordon lifted its target price to 60 pence from 50 and reiterated its 'buy' stance, noting that the deal is one of the largest to be signed by an IP company. | johnroger
03/4/2007 18:00 | Bought a few this morning. ARK looks a good company nowadays with excellent long term growth prospects. Also, we've had a nice technical breakout today, next serious resistance isn't until the mid/late 50s. NB: I first bought ARK in 2000 (and I've lost count of the amount of times I've been in and out of it) and people were saying ARM would bid for it then & they've been saying that every few months ever since! lol! If ARM were going to buy ARK they'd have bought it ages ago, when the price was trading well below the cash balance. | hattori_hanzo
03/4/2007 17:02 | I agree, cash rich ARM is one that I think would show an interest. I see this as a win win company, either way it is going to see a healthy return for those in early enough wether it goes on or is bought out. | chavitravi
03/4/2007 09:51 | If this company continues to make noises like this then it could quite likely be taken out by a competitor and at the current capitalisation value offers excellent value to any bidder. My year end price target is 95p (3 year price target 185p). Massive, massive upside now that it's turned into the blue. | ialwayswinatmonopoly
03/4/2007 08:59 | Good crop of releases today. Large $15m win, which is claimed to be the largest ever for a "Star IP" company; an internal re-organisation focused on technology re-direction and the Teja acquisition. The last is interesting since it says that they are serious about the VRaptor multi-processing technology. | sventhefish
28/3/2007 17:41 | Nice to see the win at Phison. What with them and SanDisk, ARC must have a large share of the, growing, flash market. Let's hope the royalties from these keep growing. Does ARC break out revenue by Market area? I can only find total revenue, but others (such as ARM), break them out by segment. | sventhefish
28/3/2007 17:01 | Too true, you may be interested to know that Gartmore along with otheres who have an interest in ARC have also bought into TRIFAST INTERNATIONAL who make fasteners for the electronics business & are going to go great guns now they have a new large factory in China & gone in with Techfast. It tells me there is a high possibility each will be making off the back of each othere. You may want to take a look. Code : LSE:ARK | chavitravi
28/3/2007 10:09 | More license wins announced today. Have held these since 8/03 and though now up 70% feel better is to come. | davet1p
