Disappointed nothing was said about Venus or WTR. I am not even sure what the Asgard fund brings to us.

An RNS about an AAU sideshow where we have small % investments is unlikely to have any significant share price impact. When (if) we get an update RNS this year on the main events, then I'll be hoping for some uptick in the share price Meantime, bottom drawer for these. Gla.

There is also the intention to create a £500m company here. A 15x return from current levels. Nobody is doubting this aspect. More a question of when, not how.

Ariana has a gold mine in Kiziltepe. Ariana is building a gold mine in Tavsan. Ariana is working on its third and by far largest gold and copper mine at Salinbas. Ariana owns half of Venus minerals and 75 percent of WTR. Basically a very strong base with great exposure to new exploration!Don't see what is to complain about accept the share price - which is great if you are. Buyer!

Agree totally about PoG and PoS. A revaluation of these PMs could really make a difference, and although AAU is not a high cost producer there is still gearing to make PM price increases even more significant. Could be a nice way to end the year.

Had a chance to vote for change at the last AGM and not many took up the opportunity. Non execs probably don't do much other than Remuneration committee, so will now have to hold on for a few more years for meaningful change.

What was the context for this skulking in the background. Seems a very odd use of words. But perhaps sums up their mindset. It is almost an admission of failure and certainly at a Board level. What investor wants to invest in a Co that is negative and admits to skulking. Bring in fresh vibrant enthusiastic blood. People who are excited and want to share the future. Time to vote for change surely.

I don't think many investors care hugely about dividends: we are in it for the capital gain. The problem with AAU is that, like AAZ, it doesn't really trumpet what it does, and also like AAU, it refuses to follow guidance on board composition and tenure, which scares away institutional investors, but, unlike AAZ, it also awards ridiculous options to directors which they then sell down at the earliest opportunity, thus keeping a lid on the price.

I think the problem is much simpler. Most investors look for a return on their investment in around 1 or 2 years. Ariana has effectively said there is no recurring dividend until Tavsan is operational so no dividend in that time scale. As for capital gain, the BoD show no signs of spending their cash hoard on anything that will generate more income in the near future.

So where is the incentive to buy Ariana, however good the fundamentals may be ?

It's amazing how similar our chart is to say AAZ, it's as though we are just in a gold miner pattern. Perhaps it isn't just news driven and we really do need gold and therefore overall sentiment to change. Just trying to add another aspect for the reason behind our lack lustre 2022. How are we expecting gold and silver to perform in 2023.
