18/3/2021 13:58 | soul, undoubtedly more drilling, lol! according to gianni kovacevic from the link you posted copper producers were paying 3c to 10c per pound to get their hands on established (m&i) reserves during previous cycle. (at 5c/lb = $100/t.) they say demand will exceed supply by some margin so prices paid will be higher this time round and with a 20 year lead time from discovery to BFS, producers will be wanting to come in much closer to production, so an existing m&i reserve may fetch a pretty penny. that makes for some interesting numbers if venus get even 5% of their 9.5mt jorc inferred resource to jorc m&i reserve status. my question was aimed at trying to understand how far away (ballpark) venus are from achieving that. some homework for me to do! | konil
18/3/2021 13:47 | Mmmm nice large purchase this morning just published (not mine) | doinnuthing
18/3/2021 13:21 | With a decent tailwind we could be in a superb position by end of year | bigglesbingham
18/3/2021 13:00 | Sounded to me they are advanced on new JV s in Eastern Europe looking at corporate structure | bigglesbingham
18/3/2021 12:49 | More drilling konil. From the video 'talking to the team in Ankara yesterday' hmmmm. | soulsauce
18/3/2021 12:43 | what does it take to move a jorc inferred copper reserve to jorc measured and indicated status? steps involved, time it may take, are further permits required if they are drilling already? etc. any copper buffs on board? appreciate any info, tia. | konil
18/3/2021 12:36 | Sounds like they may be thinking of more than one?? Maybe owning one outright and earning in to another...so much to look forward to! | lottsgold
18/3/2021 12:28 | A NUMBER OF INTERESTING OPPORTUNITIES....... | shortarm
18/3/2021 10:37 | The sooner they declare a regular dividend the better. We are always going on about having the lowest cost of delivery at circa $15-$20/oz etc. At 19000oz a year, if we pay out 50% dividend after tax, we should be replacing the resource at 4x the rate we smelt it - which then gets sold into the JV at 3x rate of discovery. Just the way the maths works - either that, or I have a dodgy calculator ... LOL Just my view. | pedr01
18/3/2021 09:05 | Worth a listen re' the copper space:- | soulsauce
18/3/2021 08:49 | Have to be honest the suppression of share price has helped me add at what I consider to be a very low share price considering exploration and production assets and dividend. Sometimes it's difficult to add when sentiment is against you but as I have always said I believe the reduction was unrelated to the specifics of the company and more to do with the requirements of the seller/s. when this happens it provides opportunity. The fall wasn't due to company related issue like mine production halting , bad acquisition or the like and now beginning to see some light although not totally convinced the seller has gone. | bigglesbingham
18/3/2021 08:46 | Shortarm, it is a very muted response to good news, the market overlooks AAU persistently, the special divi news is due anytime soon, I am optimistic that announcement will provide the needed boost to the share price | 1candc
18/3/2021 08:25 | Uninterested? Up 2 tenths on commencement of drilling? (Now1 tenth).....You're a bit down on AAU at the moment - how many did you sell lol :-P | shortarm
18/3/2021 08:16 | Market seems uninterested, badly needs some guidance on special dividend pay out to prop up the SP | 1candc
18/3/2021 08:04 | I think they're learning.... In the past news like this would be wrapped up in a quarterly update....Now they're gonna do it properly:-D | shortarm
18/3/2021 08:01 | Great news everything progressing nicely. | bigglesbingham
18/3/2021 07:27 | I like the word 'abundance' :) Eight holes are planned at Kokkinoyia for a total of 1,260 metres, and will be the first diamond holes to be drilled at this location. In addition to providing crucial information for both the geological model and the Resource Estimate, the programme is expected to confirm the abundance and distribution of gold and silver, which would significantly improve the economics of the deposit. Gold and silver were shown to be present in intermittent historical assays and a recent dump sampling programme. Drill core will also be utilised for metallurgical testwork. | renniks2016
18/3/2021 07:26 | Let the regular news flow commence, Kiziltepe results, Cyprus drilling and then results, Tavsan drilling and then results, Tavsan EIA, Salinbas plans, new project....busy year ahead. | lottsgold
18/3/2021 07:06 | Nice positive RNS re Cyprus D-drilling commencement. | crossfirecssf
17/3/2021 18:54 | Gold prices just shot up. Going to be a good day tomorrow I reckon | pauliewonder
17/3/2021 18:52 | Let's hope so, Powell has just let PMs rise, to me interest rates kept low until late 23 and inflation to run above 2% means buy more gold! | lottsgold
17/3/2021 17:58 | Looks to me like the end of the aforementioned correction. If my amateur chart reading is in the ball park of being semi-accurate, we should now have three waves up – through 7p and beyond. :o) | crossfirecssf
17/3/2021 17:06 | Agreed Charles. However, the new ingredient is Ozaltin. Given their dam and other big infrastructure building expertise, you'd think one thing they're bringing to the table is more sophisticated project management. Of course whether the bod want to share the results of that with us is another matter... | actonovator
17/3/2021 16:46 | Acton - a timeline? An interesting idea for holding the bod to account - I would like to see it though I doubt they would like it much o:( | charles clore |
