Agreed, PR and Broker issues.AAU is a great little company that aims to get to be a great big company!

It shows how the company is still managing to frustrate existing and potential shareholders, rather than encourage and inform. In fact AAU attempting to inform shareholders seems to backfire. That is not the fault of investors.

P.S. You'll miss the recently drilled Derya vain results - maybe they'll be like the past ones?12.1m at 16.5 g/t Au equivalent including3.2m at 48.0 g/t Au equivalent 1m at 79.7 g/t Au equivalent And Arzu North7.6m at 7.6 g/t Au equivalent 5.8m at 5.71 g/t Au equivalent

Sad day Soul, surprised - all the positives are still there and this will be multiples of the current share price in the next couple of years!I'd be interested in where you think is a better place to put your money....?

I thought that Kizilcukur and or Irvindi would have filled the gap JD and still might but it seemed today that the planned Q3 trial shipping of ore has been put back as well.

To be honest soul I'd already come to that conclusion. 50k wont be achieved until Tavsan, apart from anything it was never going to be because of the limited capacity of the existing plant. Kerim reiterated that today. Further AAU has signalled previously to be fair that Arzu South was a sweet spot and that grades would decline as we move to Derya and Arzu North. That is why I have said that I thought the output this year would be 'managed' to prevent an apparent dramatic fall from 2019 production to 2020/2021. Some stockpiled 'rich' Arzu South ore will be available until mid 2020. I expect to be pretty close to the 25000 guidance this year, of course this is just my opinion.

I would also add dixi that the conference call has made it plain that 50k oz pa will be further away than some thought and production is likely to head down before it heads up as grades drop at RR.

Reading here and on the LSE BB it appears that the conference call has proved to be an unsuccessful idea. It's not worked especially well, has led to uncertainty about borrowings, added nothing of substance nor answered questions posed. Also it has not appeared on the AAU website 'shortly after' as suggested in the RNS. Somehow Ariana manages to let itself down on the PR front yet again. Hopefully the hinted at Cyprus event will be handled better, please AAU....

They have made a big thing about being debt free by April next year though. Not strictly true though so feel a little let down to say the least.

dixi - perhaps they gave themselves permission to borrow as required using AGM resolutions.

AAU will do as they chose, I am sure they are not too bothered about PI's so long as they are well paid. Whether or not investors manage to figure everything out is another matter. Seems to be the way of the world. Utter transparency is a rare thing indeed. Wouldn't additional borrowings be considered a notifiable event?

I've only participated in a few shareholder conference calls but they all allowed questions to be put directly from the caller to the member of the company he/she wished. it sounds like this one was handled rather poorly. maybe next time.

Which raises more concerns around the previous raisings (beaufort) that mickey oversaw and then the bonus that the management awarded themselves.... Cheers for the info Ash.

Hi Soul, hands up, my question re the outstanding borrowings - simply a case of comparing the amounts repayable after more than one year with the balance of the original construction loan due to be repaid by April 2020, which identified further borrowings of close to £7m, which we now know are working capital loans to be repaid 2020-21. By my reckoning these have been building up at a rate of about £2m per annum over the last few years. Cheers, Ash
