25/5/2020 19:52 | Hi BB - yes, not sure what I was thinking there!! Too long in the hammock this afternoon, sun and San Miguel playing havoc with common sense. Roll on 8 am ? | renniks2016
25/5/2020 19:47 | Ramadan is in a lunar calendar so the dates vary each year compare to a Gregorian calendar. | risa5
25/5/2020 19:10 | Biggles why did ramadan not effect last years date for results | pranchalee

25/5/2020 18:46 | Ffs tea leaves (my spell checker ha ha ) and moretti in garden doesn't help with spelling | bigglesbingham
25/5/2020 18:45 | Sorry $1850 I was reading tealwaves and seeing what they get in 21st November rns ? | bigglesbingham
25/5/2020 18:43 | Renni the quarterlies in terms of amounts come out around 15th month after quarter ended. So15th April Rns: -- Gold production for the quarter was 5,129 ounces (Q4 2019: 7,318 ounces#), exceeding average annualised quarterly guidance by 14%. -- Total ore processed for the quarter was 53,840 tonnes (Q4 2019: 54,735 tonnes) at an average head grade to the plant of 3.22 g/t gold. -- Quarterly open-pit ore mined was 92,482 tonnes, breaking a new record, at an average mined grade of 2.54 g/t gold, and total material movement for the quarter was 1,030,697 tonnes. -- Average metallurgical recovery of gold for the quarter remains high at 92.5%. The importance with these results is financials associated ie cost versus what they got for the gold. I reckon $500 cost $2850 received which would be great. | bigglesbingham
25/5/2020 17:07 | The guidance for this year is 18,000oz as per 19th march Rns. | soulsauce
25/5/2020 17:01 | How could it be 'old news' if KS said it only a few days ago ? I know there has been increase in resources but that doesn't mean he is wrong. | risa5
25/5/2020 16:46 | That's old news risa, and as per the feasibility study, see the guidance Rns. The volume Friday seemed to suggest this has legs yet. | soulsauce
25/5/2020 16:33 | KS. 'This year we are expecting about 18000 OZs as we move into satellite pit areas'... So a drop in production for this year. Another good reason JV could be good for AAU and its sp, now its becoming clearer why KS wants the deal to go ahead. | risa5
25/5/2020 16:05 | I think you are right with regards to a slight pull back, and for purely selfish reasons, I'm hoping the quarterlies are not great, which is possible if we are processing ore from the lower grade satellite pits? Thinking people have 27k oz stuck in mind and not average over mine life, could be as low as 4.5k oz which is inline with expected. Anything above this is a bonus, but will market see that if it is? Not deramping, just not trying to get too excited especially when wanting to pick up 1m this week as cheep as possible, but accept I may well have to pay top dollar for these, but that will be small change this time next year, so no point faffing around. ? | renniks2016
25/5/2020 15:53 | I'm not a fan of charts particularly when there's so much potential news and in these unpresidented times. I'm follow "past performance is no indication of future performance and funds can go down as well as up!". | bigglesbingham
25/5/2020 15:29 | That interview seems to suggest the deal will still need all of June if not a bit more. But the main thing is that it remains nailed on, or at least that is my view. I'm no chartist so leave that to others to comment, but the chart looks close to overbought (RSI 70), so a temporary pull back wouldn't do any harm. Overall trend is strongly in the ascendency imo. | plasybryn
25/5/2020 15:03 | Excited about the AAU shareprice this week loads out there about gold and quite a bit about AAU. Then with quarterlies to boot!! | bigglesbingham
