Shows how far Ariana has come when we can splash out E920k on another asset. Gone are the dark days of going cap in hand to the likes of Beaufort to be bent over.
This is going to be a fantastic asset for us. Kerim has seen the huge potential in Cyprus through Venus and is going to add his teams excellent geological experience to soon have a very sizeable and very valuable multi metal asset.

bailed out of VTIQ last night after uncovering this, which release funds to get into Cyprus, a place I know well and will look forward to visiting again even more now. (one day!) This time next year Rodders!

New technology applied again to discover more mineralisation. Expanding AAU winning exploration formula to Cyprus. If any are questioning having blind faith then hopefully this should help put their mind at rest a little.

I think this will give a good insight as to where KS might be spending some of his 30M, this looks to have fantastic potential, considering our earn-in costs against the £100m worth of historic drilling already undertaken, this could well end up being the jewel in AAUs crown, should of brought some more when I uncovered this yesterday, but heyho! the way the mm's react to great news lately does seems to create buying opportunities, so fingers crossed. gla.

Ariana Resources plc ("Ariana" or "the Company"), the AIM-listed exploration and development company operating in Europe, is pleased to announce the completion of its initial earn-in on Venus Minerals Ltd. ("Venus"), an exploration and development company focused on copper-gold projects in Cyprus, and registered in the United Kingdom. Ariana is currently earning in to 50% of Venus, as announced on 2 December 2019.

Highlights:

-- Ariana has completed its first earn-in to Venus following the expenditure of c. EUR920,000 euros, resulting in an initial shareholding of 9.24%.

-- Venus Minerals (Cyprus) Ltd., which owns the assets, is now a 100% subsidiary of the UK entity, Venus, into which Ariana is making its investment.

-- Ariana is committed to funding a minimum of a further c. EUR180,000 before October 2020, at which time it will in total own c. 12% of Venus.

-- Earn-in to 50% will complete once a total of EUR3 million has been committed to Venus by Ariana, with a further EUR1.9 million required to be spent between October 2020 and October 2022.

-- New licence applications for the New Sha Deposit have now been submitted, which include the following shallow drill intercepts: 9m @ 1.82% Cu and 9m @ 1.81% Cu, with associated gold results up to 8m @ 2.2 g/t Au.

-- Exploration results to date across the Venus portfolio are highly encouraging, including the discovery of a new zone of outcropping mineralisation at the Mariner Project.

Procea will do much of the managing of new JV, mine build and running. AAU find the gold. New partner finance and push through contracts using contacts

Hi Paul,It was a question I was going to ask myself but had trouble joining chat room and when I did I got side tracked catching up on all the previous chat! I know from previous info we were committed to £2m earn in costs, but couldn't understand how that played out when we are already a 50% share holder from incorporation? I am interested to know if the 2m buys us all the allotted shares and Venus become 100% AAU, but who knows? I think we will all find out very soon!

Someone mentioned Shares in stable hands:
Eldorado Gold Corp I believe hold 28.337 m shares - 2.67%
Starvest (SVE) I believe hold 17.6 m shares - 1.65%
The four Directors hold 87.485m shares - 8.25%
I know a group of shareholders who own circa 15%
There will be quite a few on here that own a fair few no doubt.
So that is at least 30% accounted for.

FAIR VALUE? I don't think so.
Can someone please explain to me how Condor Gold (CNR) a Co. exploring in risky Nicaragua, which is still some years from production is worth £41m against our £35m.
Bearing in mind we are profitable, debt free, apart from a normal working capital facility, have interest from a large conglomerate potentially wanting to inject large sums of cash, have numerous highly accretive potential prospects, are one of the lowest cost producers, and have bottom quartile discovery costs. Resources & reserves being increased and new opportunities being pursued in Cyprus (copper etc.) Am I missing something?

Kaos3, The mining expertise comes from Proccea, Kerim and the rest of the Ariana team are geologists who find the deposits. Ariana are a gold exploration and development company whose aim is to then, either sell on the finds or enter into joint ventures to mine those deposits. They are not a mining company as such and will be the first to admit that is not their forte. I'm sure that Kerim and probably MDV, possibly our other directors are directors of Zenit. As Ariana, through it's subsidiaries, own 50% of Zenit and take 51% of the profits why should it be entitled to a fee as well. I'm sure Proccea put as much into the JV as Ariana.
