Hi JD, the working capital loan is within the JV. Cheers, Ash

Just watched the proactive interview again. Was impressive. Does anyone know if the £7m working capital facility is solely attributable to AAU or, like the construction loan, to the JV? Have to say that the sign off (BMW to Tesla) makes me cringe, so unlike how I have seen him interview before. I would have expected such a sign off from a slick shiny suited American not Kerim!

biggles - could it be a copper gold porphyry? I believe a VMS was mentioned, they often produce polymetallic deposits.

excellent confident interview. answered all the questions that have been angsted on here for some time.

I like the Tesla aspiration, but historically I see AAU as having been a Ford Cortina.

right now it could be a VW Tiguan ( - yes, I happen to drive one, and VW may yet outshine Tesla in the electric vehicle stakes ).

but a BMW ? never. ( and yes, I hate BMWs)

Either that or some holdings are being shifted around.

Gym: -the two large 1m+ trades at 2.1 must have been buys as know for certain that the two later trades at 2.09 were definitely buys - (even though showing as sells). mms still holding it back.

Reckon they're buys Gymratt; 3m now in total?

Wonder whether it's connected to the near 8m trade from a couple of weeks ago?

Cinoib - I am well aware that 6% dividend is 6% more than AAU but thanks for reminding me - I assume, in the hope of 'drumming it in' lol! I agree with you the share price 'should' be around 5p at this stage and, having been compressed for a while, will no doubt finally break out with great force.

Any ideas on the large trade? Is it a buy? If so, someone with deep pockets and a good sense of timing(?), unlike me having 'topped up' with 180k last week @ 2.24p.

Charles, is about 6% that's 6% more than AAU. Read Jbravo2 post he puts it better than me and he holds both. I held this for quite a while when under development and made money as the share price then was much higher than now , hovering between 3 and 5p. With gold at current levels this should be nearer that 5p mark not 2.

Yes an excellent interview with Proactive. Kerim comes across very well and looked to have covered most of the concerns raised here over the last 24hrs.

I suppose it all depends on which BMW you are talking about and I know which I would sooner have.

soul - a Tesla is the ultimate electric car. Very desirable to fans. It may have something to do with batteries but I tend to think he meant AAU is about to embark on an image change - to modern and upmarket. He certainly came across as a different person in the interview didn't he?

By the way, the new Tesla Roadster can do 0-60 in 1.9 seconds so pretty damn quick!

Yes very good interview but mystified by the BMW remark. I am not sure Tesla is an improvement unless it was a subtle clue about battery metals 😉

Been reading the post the last couple of days and not surprised at the drop in the share price today. By all accounts the conf call was badly conducted, but posters spent the next 24 hours criticizing the company so no wonder the drop in the share price earlier. If I was a new, potential investor, I certainly wouldn't have bought any today, and if I was a weak holder, I might have sold. It doesn't take much volume for the share price to be effected.

No company is perfect but AAU tick most of the boxes that investors should be looking for.
1. Profitable
2. Generally very well run
3. Upside exploration potential
4. 2nd mine being planned and paid for via loan
5. Good relations with respected partner and Gov't
6. No actually need for dilution.
7. 20k oz / year plant chucking out 25k oz / year

No it's not all happening as fast as we hope it will, but looking at the bigger long term picture, a poor Conf call is hardly worth wetting ones pants.

Haven't listened to it get but this is probably what should have happened yesterday before all the soul searching.

Probably was then I started dipping toes in then I went from a swim having done research. The mine itself more than lived up to expectations a year ago as did the board and employees ie Zack and the Turkish geologists one of which drove me three hours over the mountains during night to get to mine. Can't believe a year ago !!!!
