20/5/2015 15:09 | 15p pre spud in my opinion, there will be ups and downs but I think it will get there. Plenty of momentum, which is important with these shares. | wordog
20/5/2015 14:37 | This has to be the best Falklands play at the moment, I'm up about 80% already! | trulyscrumptious
20/5/2015 13:35 | At last looking like it may be starting to head towards a more realistic valuation | jathomas
19/5/2015 17:05 | Mr 200k taking more bites @ 10p. The only way would seem to be up despite the mm`s attempts to shake the weary. Hold tight people and hope the poo goes in the right direction | alfieduncan
19/5/2015 09:25 | More blue, no news is good news and they don't have to lift a finger to make the money roll in. That's a good deal. | trulyscrumptious
19/5/2015 09:14 | Another nice start to the day. | trulyscrumptious
18/5/2015 14:36 | oilbandiot lol clueless | jathomas
15/5/2015 13:30 | I agree with you there, I was amazed no one took this acreage up before ARG. Off hand I believe it was Shell who had oil shows and was always surprised they never went back. But then the poo was about $10 so I guess they thought it was uneconomical. The BOD must be rubbing their hands in expectation of this drill, I am! | trulyscrumptious
15/5/2015 12:51 | Many people don't seem to understand that 5% on sales is equivalent to a much higher percentage when the resulting amount is calculated on net profit. This is a very shrewd deal, and I believe ARG has the license for one of the most desirable acreages drilled all these years ago where there were oil shows. | corrientes
15/5/2015 12:39 | People are waking up to the fact it's undervalued and is in need of a re-rating. | trulyscrumptious
15/5/2015 12:31 | What's behind the rise here in the last two days? BOR picking up too, let's hope sentiment re:Falklands from investors is picking up. Lot's of room in both to get back to shares prices where they were in 13/14 | barvin
14/5/2015 23:02 | Obviously there will be days to the contrary but this should rise for a while now. Rhea has 449 mb recoverable, 5% of that is 22.45 @ $5 a barrel = $112.25 or £70. As the present MKT CAP is only £18 it follows that there is quite a lot of upside to come. Those who get in early won't need to wait until TD to bank a profit. | trulyscrumptious
14/5/2015 15:24 | I see someone is top-slicing, selling 11 shares! | trulyscrumptious
14/5/2015 14:36 | The mms for some reason don't want to let this go but can't hold it down forever | jathomas
14/5/2015 13:21 | Lots of buying but the volume is still low. | wordog
14/5/2015 09:58 | Finally some upward movement on the bid after sizeable buys over the last couple of days. Recent 150k @ 8p reported as a late trade is probably a buy. | alfieduncan
01/5/2015 15:31 | Buyers getting a second chance to snap a few up before FI drill bit strikes. | mega_trader
21/4/2015 17:33 | Been around 8x100,000 buys and a 500,000 buy over the last 3 trading sessions ....interesting to see how much the buyer or buyers want to pick up shares wise ... | shokty
20/4/2015 21:01 | Hi wordog ..but isn't that what all explorers have to deal with I.e. waiting for the payback on costs spent/making profit when production starts ...albeit unless they are bought out ..which could happen to Argos... The other thing I am trying to work through is ...we get 5% royalties on gross sales for doing nothing (pretty much all profit) and paying nothing ongoing...if you think most companies spend a lot to get to production and have to pay operational and further capital costs during production (which can significantly impact the profit they make ..what therefore would be the relative % holding of the license (not that we would ever actually have an interest in the license in the production scenario) ....not sure I am making sense :) ...basically: If you held say 15% of the license and made £30 million profit a year or You got 5% gross sales and made £30 million profit a year ..You could say they are the same thing financially (I think) ... Not sure what the actual relative potential would be though .....yet ..I'm still musing over it... | shokty
20/4/2015 20:31 | I think people are put off by how long it will take to get to production. Yes, potential to make a lot of revenue for nothing but until production they will have an annual income of $800000. Obviously if its a duster they are back where they started, although the clock will reset on the license. | wordog
20/4/2015 18:34 | Hey All Just help me out ...ARG get 5% of all gross revenues from production from across the license area ..so just for Rhea target (excluding anything else) is 449 million barrels ...@5% = 22.5 million barrels approx @ lets say $60 a barrel gross revenue = 1.35 billion dollars (basically pure profit) ...even at half that find = 730 million dollars odd ...just for Rhea no other areas in license ... They have no more exploration or production costs and great partners to develop any find ..no more dilution (hopefully) .. £18.8 million mkt cap ....got to rise significantly from here..thoughts? Doesn't even feel that binary to me ...even if no hit at Rhea Noble/Edison carry on exploring in license area or it all reverts back to ARG.... sorry if made major mistakes somewhere | shokty
20/4/2015 14:42 | shareholder complete and utter "RIP OFF" R.I.P ARGOS RESOURCES. DIRTY ILITE SCUM | oilbandit |
