Savvy, I have to say that I think this is more likely to go down than up. It has less than 5p per share's worth of cash and I don't see much forward profitability.
Why would it spike upwards?

Has anybody noticed in the last week, at around 16.32 most days a trade of 2m shares at 3.75p? I can't think of anything other than somebody is accumulating at 3.75p a large order gradually filling. If you have any means of knowing more about this I would be interested to hear...it must be close to a million pounds overall...

4.5p of cash with no business 3.5p is just about the right price Mgmnt here just didn't believe that the fall in cryptos would effect their business model and its had a debilitating effect Decent acquisition and we are 6p but if not 2p and a complete disaster for IPo buyers at 16p

Well, my take on it is that it had to bounce off 3p because there was 5p's worth of cash on board.

However, Crypto stinks, so I've taken profits at 3.625p making almost 20% profit. If it goes to my predicted 4.36p then I've forfeited a further 20% but I don't care as crypto is a loser imo.

I'm not a vegan yet, but crypto is wasting so much of Earth's energy for so little good that, in comparison, veganism is tempting.

Where is everybody ? What an interesting few days !! The price is solid. The deals reported are always in the wrong column. The MM's don't want anybody to know whether it is a buy or a sell so the reported bargains are mostly in the wrong column !! Mark my words something is going on here. I doubled my holdings because I believe that when sensible investors put £25m into a venture (albeit blockchain)then make RNS's that are positive you can't think it is a giant fraud !!!! Which I think is how the market is currently valuing ARB. This is all IMHO of course but I think this is a much bigger story, the Cryptos are not yet finished again IMHO GLA

...so long as they preserve their cash!

If they were to dissolve the company and return cash to shareholders they would all get 5p per share.

hTTps://www.riotblockchain.comThe ability to adjust and adopt to change in a rapidly evolving environment is paramount for success. Mass adoption will require scale up that early practices can no longer provide. The companies who are set up for easy change of focus and have cash at hand will survive.

Still, if the company is to stop renting it's machines to customers and mine for itself at reduced expenditure and reduced net monthly outgoings, it should be worth, say 80% of net assets.
If net assets are, say, £15 million then the current Mcap of £8.5M is a tad mean.

I assume that the reason for stopping mining for clients is that demand is rapidly falling (since it is unprofitable to the client, even at $50/month) and that they see a rapid falling of rental income in the future.
I expect they have a an annual contract for renting the buildings and hardware and they are nervous of committing the business to another full year's rent.

Align Rampsearch should be taken with a large pinch of salt, as they are paid by companies to put out research papers, so they are biased and a waste of time. They did the same with ZEN, ramping it at 12p with a 36p price target - current price 3p.

Could be in the press over the weekend and Monday could be interesting. Trading well below cash value and has the same cash as reported in December so current cash burn is minimal. Sounds like a good approach by the management under the current circumstances....but the market is still deciding ?

Thanks riddler. If they're all monthly packages, then presumably no refunds. So maybe that £15m can be relied upon...in which case it's at a big discount to cash.
