18/7/2011 11:08 | With all due respect guys but you have to take the fairly large market cap here into consideration. Also AR is producing but have only just started. So the market wants to see consistent production numbers and targets being achieved. Regards | 1chunk
18/7/2011 11:01 | Yep.............and to cap it all we have just dropped I see.....wish I had some cash free. AR. just does not seem to get the publicity it deserves. | yorgi
18/7/2011 10:57 | gold above 1600. and still no-one notices us. WE ARE PRODUCING!!!!!!!!!!! | lfc4ever
18/7/2011 09:19 | The RNS today has made it clear that the volcano will is having no effect on the mine. | yorgi
18/7/2011 08:58 | With the gold rise still strong I would have thought the share price would have been stronger here. | yorgi
15/7/2011 11:33 | This one - was checking myself this morning in case a buying op arose here | ajviews
15/7/2011 11:29 | What volcano! | snickerdog
15/7/2011 09:29 | I've checked and the volcano is 40 miles from the mine. There is no danger from any eruption. Likely disprution would be to air travel from Manado due to ash (but we get where we live!). BY the way this is an active volcano and not an unexpected occurance | silverfern
14/7/2011 11:20 | We have some life Boadicea :-) | yorgi
14/7/2011 10:52 | Yes it is on both fronts Boadicea. I have found AR. has tended to be like that for some time and I don't know why as once they received permission to develop the mine they have done what they said they would. I know the production is slightly down on their expectation but the POG has continued to rise and we should have some more good news to look forward to later in the year. POG soaring away and hard to find any reason for it to stop yet. | yorgi
13/7/2011 16:38 | Strangely quiet - not just this thread but almost no trades as well. Often a good time to buy, hoping the crowd will eventually notice it's getting unjustifiably left behind. | boadicea
13/7/2011 12:23 | One would think so and I only see the POG continuing to rise......$1600/oz pretty soon but how much higher goodness knows. Anyway all to the bottom line for us and hopefully further good news later in the year from further exploration. | yorgi
13/7/2011 12:14 | given pog surely we are due another leg up here? | lfc4ever
06/7/2011 07:32 | Another step forward again today ;-) | yorgi
05/7/2011 22:59 | lfc4ever - It's even more important to avoid a lower low. I could remain optimistic without a higher high for some weeks as long as it stays within a pennant style taper. It just needs to stay above 58p into and through August after which seasonal factors should bring an improving trend to pm stocks generally. I like the story here and there are good reasons for it to do better than my seasonally restrained expectations. Of course that all supposes the background market doesn't implode. | boadicea
05/7/2011 16:52 | Bear in mind they may have also tried to delay a little due to the really rocky market as of late | snickerdog
05/7/2011 16:51 | boadicea, I like the way you phrased that! Ok, I was not following their deadlines etc so it slipped by me. I just knew that they were due roundabout end of June | snickerdog
05/7/2011 11:19 | needs to post a higher high, else it will start to look convincingly like a down trend, though. | lfc4ever
05/7/2011 08:04 | Good little rise this morning :-) | yorgi
04/7/2011 13:46 | Precisely Snickerdog. | yorgi
04/7/2011 13:43 | Were the results that late? I was not really bothered as it is final production which we should be concerned about. | snickerdog
04/7/2011 11:53 | Colin Loosemore has always come across as very straight down to earth guy and has worked hard to get us where we are now and I'm sure we have further to go :-) | yorgi
04/7/2011 11:40 | I had some correspondence with Colin L on Friday, just as the results were published. I do not belive I would be breaching confidence in saying he was somewhat contrite about the lateness of results, but explained it had been caused by having to use a number of auditors and the moving of offices to Singapore at the same time as production started ramping up. He's glad it's all out of the way. I could have received a message saying 'what's the prblme, they're out now' so I was grateful for the reply : the final responsibility rests with him, as he also acknowledged. | silverfern
04/7/2011 09:09 | not entirely clear why the slight slippage impacts on share price target, unless it is a distinctly short term one. | lfc4ever |
