profit of US$74 million makes the mkt cap look pretty conservative.
Come on- big push to £1 share price by easter?

does anyone have access to the whole article? cut and paste or email it?

Archipelago Resources' (LON:AR.) major resource upgrade will allow the mining firm to extend the TokaTindung mine's life significantly, says chief executive Marcus Engelbrecht.
This week the miner revealed hefty resource upgrades for two of the five deposits at TokaTindung, northern Indonesia.

Looks to me like someone fishing for trailing stops set at ~10% below recent highs, say about 65p. In that case a quick recovery is typical.
I hope no-one here got caught.

I will buy further if the next update shows production on track and gold holds. Becomes a no brainer. BUt selling? no.

Boaedica: thanks- I have been on such BBs since the esi days. I'd be on Level 2 but have a day job. FWIW I am in MML and was comparing the two companies only this morning; another one good to go is SHG imho.

I do find Advfn's price guide increasingly haphazard. BUys coming thru at 72p and still they were saying down 0.5p. ANyway a bit of rectification now.

THis is so undervalued if I had all the money I had invested in AR. I'd invest
it in AR.

'Anticipation' of today's announcement would explain recent comparative strength of the share price
Nice, all the same.

good news, if expected. ANd there is a clear statement that tis should lead to further resource upgrades int he future. For now, this is turning into a cash cow

Seems not Ifc4ever :-) I gambled and I saw it purely a gamble when I bought some on Friday......but profit on those this morning not covering the loss when I sold out at 1.5p on the way down. If they don't have further problems at NAL over the next year and manage to continue to ramp up gold production todays price will be bargain.

From the pattern of trades it looks like most of the buys went to a single keen buyer. I hope he wants plenty more!

Silverfern - I was thinking of you and knew that if I exited the share price would rise !!!
Actually my memory is hazy but I think my decision was based on missing production numbers and then the challenges in Vietnam.
