Well given optiva had a 9p price target based on CASA and the other gold assets prior to landing Zamsort id say its pretty much nailed onCobalt producer this year too

Arc Minerals (ARCM LN) 3.1p, Mkt Cap £16.7m – Ann Gloag, founder of Stagecoach, takes 3% stake following consolidation of Zamsort stage

Mrs. Ann Gloag, O.B.E. has notified the market that she holds 16.2m shares in Arc Minerals representing 3% of the company.

Gloag was a co-founder of Stagecoach Group and a former nurse has previously been ranked as Scotland’s richest woman.

Mrs. Gloag runs the Gloag Foundation, a charitable trust to support projects that prevent or relieve poverty and encourage the advancement of education, health and religion in the UK and overseas.

Gloag is a proponent of efficient philanthropy.

Arc Minerals recently announced that it has increased its stake in Zamsort Limited to 49% from 14% through the acquisition of Zamsort shares held by Terra Minerals in exchange for 102.1m new shares in Arc Minerals. Terra is subject to a 12m lock-in.

Management are also in discussion with the Zambian Competition and Consumer Protection Commission in relation to potentially raising its stake to >50%.

Arc also hold a loan note convertible into 5.34% of Zamsort.

Arc also reported the raising of £2.5m through the placing of 104.2m new shares at 2.4p for exploration at Zamsort and to complete the resource upgrade at its 99.4% owned Casa Mining.

Conclusion: Arc has made huge progress in its work to advance the Zamsort project. The team should start production of copper and cobalt hydroxide cake this year starting with a 10,000t stockpile of screened ore grading 2.08% copper and 0.29% cobalt.

Further consolidation of Zamsort should be good for Arc and good for the future development of the Zamsort project as a whole.

It is our view that Ann Gloag should have found a worthy and rewarding cause in its investment in Arc Minerals and the Zamsort project in Zambia.

Ann Gloag has taken 3% of ARCM in the placing! Richest woman in Scotland & co-founder of Stagecoach in 1980's with her brother Brian Souter. Together worth £825m in recent Rich List. Serious vote of confidence by major business figure & person of influence!!!

ARCM are going to be one of the top AIM stocks this yr imo. I really do see this being in 10p range before Christmas.

Agree re Asiamet was talking to a fellow investor and there is a fair chance that Kalaba could be Beutong size however it may be that even with a 10:1 ratio of copper/cobalt the company home on on the cobalt

Investor call Nick said 'we see this as the most exciting asset left in the region'. majors already been knocking on the door but he wants to drill before those talks start and drilling starts imminently
