Waiting is excellent if the fundamentals clearly indicate that the stock is undervalued. Not here. No figures whatsoever to support this thesis. Quite the opposite. A nightmare formula for an investor a sure fire way to lose money. An object lesson in flouting all the concepts of investment.
OK Mercier and others - tell me what eps are you expecting for 07 and 08. What is the current historic pe and forward pe for the next two years (I am led to believe you are not expecting minus figures). What do you expect the cash position to be? Gearing etc. Where are the figures to support your argument.
It looks to me like a flailing around in the dark - all hope, not based on anything.
I have witnessed this sort of thing many times and people like you - assuming you are genuine - are certain to lose lots of money.
I don't want to sound as if I am boasting but I am currently showing 143% gains so far in 2007 following well over 120% the previous year and that includes big losses on Aquilo. So I feel justified in offering an opinion.
I give you an example of patience. I have continually invested in GNG who are a low cap company like Aquilo but one with totally transparent figures and in profit with very low pes all year and a continual flow of contract announcements. In the face of all this evidence, the share price dropped. Dropped by 20% but I kept buying, because all the fundamentals indicated the very results that were eventually to be announced. The share price has gone up almost 25% since results 3 days ago. It is likely that the share price will continue to rise over the next few days as there is great buying pressure still. It was obvious this would happen - all the evidence was there. The same applies to another low cap, RCG where it is a 99% certainty that the share price will rise between 25 and 100% in the period between now and immediately after the results. It's all there for one to see. So why invest or hold Aquilo against options offered elsewhere that are a thousand times better!!!!!

Even if they get 75% of shareholder approval it does not mean the LSE will allow them to delist. As far as I am concerned this is a fast growing insurance related repair company. They are firing on all cylinders. The directors well I shouldn't even use the term directors I should say the private equity funders would love to take AQL private. Come on VPV lent them £1.5 million in June, what for???.

Aviva reported interims today. The flood damage has cost them £235 million. All good news for companies like AQL.

The lower the stock goes the more you pick-up AND WAIT!!.

Does anyone think it odd that they said they were considering delisting rather than intended to?

Your biggest weakness is not to realise you've made a mistake and bale
out, instead your posts become more and more desperate which is so easy
to spot on your threads.

Look at todays sales and the prices they got.

I am prepared to take the gamble that they will remain listed..As yet it is unclear ...Will they remain listed or wont they..I hope they do, if so then 30p will be history..Also if 75% shareholders agreement is needed to de-list then someone better start buying...

But how are you going to sell them if they are worth anything when they aren't listed? Surely there have to be better options for your cash.

This company is hogwash, and so are the "positive" comments here. If you have any sense, ditch the whole lot as I did a while back and then you won't have to bother speculating about what is happening any more. Look at the record right back before AIM and OFEX, and you'll see there's only ever been one trend and that's down the pan. They may have had a so=called change of management, but look at the list of major shareholders and you'll notice some familiar names in there. They are only interested in one thing - themselves. PIs don't even cross their radar. If there's any way they can get their grubby paws on any cash from this stinking heap, they'll find it, but you won't see any of it. Do yourself a favour and SELL!

Are you letting emotion cloud you analysis, GI? It looks like cash burn was only £13,000 per month for the first 4 months of the year and they say business has improved since then. It seems the business has stabilised but it remains to be seen whether they are trying to rip us off or not. It was odd how the substantial cashflow improvement was buried rather than highlighted. It was odd how the results came out on the website before the RNS on Monday that did not come out before the start of trade. In fact the earnings statement (from which I deduced the cashflow) in note 1.a. of the pdf on the website does not appear at all in the abridged accounts RNS release. Does this constitute an attempt to mislead the market?

"The Group traded at a loss of £84k for the four months to April 30 2007 before tax according to the management accounts."

I thought 1.a.b) was also of interest:

"The results of a cost reduction exercise, which the Directors have determined will have reduced the cost base by a figure in excess of the planned £300,000 (on an annualised basis) by June 2007;"

This whole preparation of accounts as a going concern bit of the results in the PDF posted on the website over that weekend and not seen in the results RNS seems to suggest better business news that was deliberately buried.

A few people who were extremely bullish on this one a few weeks ago are noticeable by their absence.

Dumped my remaining few AQL shares this morning at 32p.

At least 32p is better than 0p.

Spoke with Paul yesterday evening and they have been doing some trenching with the bulldozer. Apparently Cherry Hill has come up trumps so should be an intersting time ahead. As for this one maybe the reality of it all is starting to hit home.

Paul won't release any news until after the holiday season. Lets face it any news in this market would just get lost. So looking forward to September and the next leg up.

What an absolute shocker this company is. After years of hot air and under performance, cash burn they now are going to take it private. And some on here think you should be buying. LOL.
