30/6/2007 14:44 | Could do with some opinions here. I am new to this one but isn't that £1.38m cashflow generated from operations in H2? (£1.77m - £0.39m). I don't know how that fits in with seasonality and changes in the business. H2 operational cashflow last year was £411k. Should have got to know this one better but it is only a small punt. | aleman
30/6/2007 14:29 | They're on the website!!! | aleman
30/6/2007 13:42 | Yogya59 Such a scenario where the deal had fallen through over the last two days and the company was not in a position to state it was a going concern would certainly account for why they could have missed the deadline. However I'm inclined to think the exact opposite has happened. Arthur Rickshaw to took over as Executive Director to the company on the 12th June 2007. At the same time shareholders were informed that AIRS for which he was Chief Operations Officer has already broken even. Again shareholders were notified on the 20th June 2007 that new lending facilities were in place. The billion pound worth of claims that are coming in as a result of the recent storm damage have no doubt changed the outlook for AQL for the better. I suspect corporate action may well be the reason why the results have been delayed. Let's wait and see. | mercier et camier
30/6/2007 13:02 | 25wbh, what is your reading on the current situation? Could the financing arrangements 10 days ago have fallen through? I find it difficult to square such a scenario with the increase in share price over the last month on minimal volume. Yesterday's rise particularly interesting as it is difficult to reconcile 3p rise on 2,5000 buy at a time when clear results would not meet the deadline? What do you think is happening? The fact that company did not make an announcement saying that they would not meet the deadline also puzzles me as lots of other companies did this. | yogya59
30/6/2007 07:24 | good morning all | 25wbh
29/6/2007 19:21 | Why?Has not happened to NEB and they are always late in announcing anything | 25wbh
29/6/2007 19:11 | No, the stock has got to be suspended first thing Monday morning irrespective of when the results are released. | mercier et camier
29/6/2007 19:08 | yes, unless of course they announce their results on Monday at 7 | yogya59
29/6/2007 18:54 | As far as I'm aware the year end was 31st December 2006. Now unless the year end has changed this stock should be temporarily suspended 07:00 Monday morning. | mercier et camier
29/6/2007 18:06 | "Rose today because insurance companies have announce that the recent floods have caused £1 Billion worth of damage." Not convinced about that. If that were the driver, why wasn't CLM also marked up? | wiganer
29/6/2007 18:00 | Was that announced after 16:00 ? | knowing
29/6/2007 17:57 | Rose today because insurance companies have announce that the recent floods have caused £1 Billion worth of damage. | mercier et camier
29/6/2007 17:44 | 38p / 43p looking good!! | 25wbh
29/6/2007 17:36 | Results Monday hopefully , maybe some press comment over the weekend ,"how the shares will rocket bla bla bla " | 25wbh
29/6/2007 16:29 | yes we only bought 2500 shares and it was marked up. All market makers are actually short so anything good and they will need to buy the stock from somewhere. | tp100
29/6/2007 16:28 | That is a good sign. We all know that news leaks. A couple of pence off would have been very worrying. Fingers crossed. | aleman
29/6/2007 16:19 | Pushing up now on nosey buying, just before the close. Should be good news! | philjeans
29/6/2007 16:19 | wow no announcement, I am worried and the share price goes up.. That is a first | yogya59
29/6/2007 15:23 | Thanks for that tp | 25wbh
29/6/2007 15:20 | Don't read too much into it. I expect results to be after hours but see this as a reason to buy not panic as Monday morning could provide the highest riser. Market is bidding 36p for 10k so things not a negative as it seems. We know AIRS has broken even and perhaps bad weather will push them into a relevant profit - let's not forget the market cap is only £2.2m. | tp100
29/6/2007 14:53 | does not make sense to me. what do they gain by announcing after hours? Market will still react on Monday morning!! We know the results will be terrible anyway, it is just the trading update that matters. Very curious | yogya59
29/6/2007 12:49 | I agree if a company issues results after market close, that is a bad sign. Any sensible company should release during market hours, preferably 1st thing... let the market decide thereafter. Issuing results after market close especially on Friday is certainly not endearing to the market. | cyberpost
29/6/2007 12:46 | lets hope that if there is an announcement that it will not be after hours , normally very bad news comes out then | 25wbh
29/6/2007 11:30 | don't worry about suspension - I suspect we will have something to read over the weekend. I'm still thinking that the recent bad weather is going to beneficial to AIRS. | tp100 |
