27/12/2012 12:57 | Wonder why our Georgian friend sold out.? | bronislav
27/12/2012 12:55 | i am pretty sure the us/canadaian markets open 2.30pm our time and the asx opens 23:00 our time i think there's a much greater possibility of us/canada heraing about this then the asian markets | xcap
27/12/2012 12:48 | Q. If I was a yank living in the U.S, would I normally have to wait until my broker opened to be able to deal in overseas stocks(if I didn't have an international trading account)? Just trying to flip onto the reverse side of the coin. ie. if there was an asian stock(ahead of us in time) I wanted to buy, most would generally have to wait for their broker to open? No? | lufc5
27/12/2012 12:46 | Thanks xcap. | bronislav
27/12/2012 12:39 | quadrise is an equally exciting stock Bron and best of luck with that you never know your timing might be spot on! | xcap
27/12/2012 12:37 | Not yet I sold out and put my money into quadrise so its a difficult call as I think quadrise has some good news ahead and although I am upbeat on aqua I think we have a wait until the two months of public debate and final decision.i could of got in witha a couple of grand on the Monday before the rise at ten pence but dilly dallied.I think we may have a little drop back but the supply of shares are limited and this could easily take off big time with any buying.i sold some at 7 and had bought at 4p and my large holding of 150 k I sold at circa 7.25 having bought around the 6p mark.whatever happens I genuinely wish all the best to holders and hope it becomes the success we all envisioned. | bronislav
27/12/2012 12:18 | Bron if its any comfort I researched this stock in Feb/March 2012 and was offered 100000 @ 4.5p , but the story is so good that I am in much higher price. this is still surely a phenomenal growth story | xcap
27/12/2012 12:03 | Bron'. Are you back in? | lufc5
27/12/2012 11:59 | Lufcs/Bronislaw I see where you are coming from re Randall Kirk (of starship enterprise:-)) | xcap
27/12/2012 11:44 | I suspect Intrexon had been tipped off.49per cent and lend abtx to keep them afloat. The date of the environemental statement is around about the time that the fda spokesmen made the soon remark about that timing of the environemental statement.politics at play and the usual dishonesty attached to the stock exchange .looking good from here. | bronislav
27/12/2012 11:34 | xcap. The long termers are in it....for the long term/holy grail. This is the modern day equivalent to the likes of the steam engine, first flight, the motor car, computer...etc. Randall Kirk has hedged his bets(with or without large overfilled brown paper bags) and his timing looks to be....coincidentally ;o) | lufc5
27/12/2012 11:21 | good news here is that the list of holders (other than Intrexon) have been a pretty patient lot, why would they sell out now? can't see it myself. | xcap
27/12/2012 11:20 | Seems he has a track record of picking fledgling bio techs with huge potential(just like ABTX). Pretty much self made. | lufc5
27/12/2012 11:15 | randall kirk whats the connection Lufcs, have I/we missed something and thanks again the link it would seem that they will struggle to achieve 75%, down to A weinstein imho | xcap
27/12/2012 11:00 | Anyone checked out the ceo of Intrexon? I have. | lufc5
27/12/2012 10:58 | I hope not. I have certainly not voted to half the value of my holding! I think if they are still interested a new offer will have to be tabled. | goz1986
27/12/2012 10:57 | Looking ahead, were AquaBounty to receive FDA approval, the Company's growth prospects would be significant. Aquaculture continues to grow more rapidly than other food-producing sectors. According to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, 82% of global fish stocks are overexploited, depleted or endangered. With world population and demand for fish protein increasing, sources of supply are under ever increasing pressure. The Company believes that biotechnology-based solutions, such as its AAS, can assist in overcoming this shortfall by enabling a new and sustainable production system. As a result, the potential market for AAS and other AquaBounty products is substantial. xcap. Scroll down to no7 on this page below for the most recent major shareholding list. Hope this answers your 75% Q. | lufc5
27/12/2012 09:22 | Lufcs/goz any views on what happens on 4 Jan and post vote in your view are they likely to achieve the 75% they need | xcap
27/12/2012 07:59 | LT shareholders having been waiting for this day for 2 year + can't see then voting through Interxon's offer price and Intrexon achieving 75% timing is excellent for the BoD to do a small capital raise to see them through 2013. if share price gets to 50p , £2m = 4m shares miminal dilution | xcap
27/12/2012 01:49 | JW. Totally irrelevant. Look at the prospectus. I will find it and paste it for you to read and digest.... | lufc5
26/12/2012 23:24 | interesting stuff but one of the rnss stated that they have borrowed 500k and I think that they may go for cash if the share price keeps rising. perhaps a share issue. | johnwalton
26/12/2012 21:41 | didn't consider that at all lufcs if the pi's from the us and canada start buying up (and the brokers over there must have picked up the FDA press release on 24th/26th) could be interesting days ahead | xcap
26/12/2012 21:33 | goz. Not splitting hairs but it was between 25k-30k bought. Still jack sh!t really. Are some savvy yanks going to realise that the only way to invest in Super salmon..... is....here? I would expect a certain increase in volume. Let's see. GLA. | lufc5 |
