27/8/2018 12:23 | I would like to know what the AppScatter management make of the Dragon's den candidates, this week, who were doing away with the middle man ...the App store. | hazl
23/8/2018 07:54 | I think quite a few successful business people have some failures on the way. With no news how can we judge? Half yearly results in September. | hazl
23/8/2018 07:49 | Sorry, I see Manish Kotecha left at the end of June. They currently don't have an FD? It seems directors came and went rather a lot when they were a limited co. Just an admin thing? | typo56
23/8/2018 07:23 | After brief investigating it appears that APPS is run by the same 'dream team' (Phillip Marcella, Jason Hill and Manish Kotecha) that brought us RMR plc (which morphed into The Talent Group then Guscio then GoTech). Is this correct? Are they attempting to re-run the process? Personally I'd bargepole, but I wouldn't wish to influence those who've researched in more depth and/or have a greater willingness to accept risk. | typo56
23/8/2018 06:52 | The investment-case originally, seemed pretty compelling,to me anyway, with the analysts and backers support and the innovative concept. Having turned over every stone research-wise prior to this I have decided to let it sink or swim now. If some of you that have been in the industry, don't know what's going on, than I cannot hope to. However,it is a time of the year when everybody is away and stale-bulls I bet, toook one look at that RNS Title saw the word 'placing' and ran a mile without looking at the content. This company hasn't been going a year, yet with headlines like this just back in July I don't think this has been given a chance.... but what do I know? 'AppScatter Confident Going Forward As It Wins New Contracts' I will wait until half-year results, can completely understand if others don't feel that way. I will add that I never put a lot into a speculative share. | hazl
22/8/2018 22:06 | Just another AIM ponzi scheme then. | my retirement fund
22/8/2018 17:59 | Exactly, if it was anything near the current share price it would require a declaration if all taken by one party.Just a bad smell about this stock. That's ignoring the burning smell coming from the bottom line. They had just short of £4m at the start of this year | barvin
22/8/2018 16:01 | Strange behaviour of the board to issue an opaque RNS like that. At 1.63% of the equity it is also below the declaring interest threshold so "well hidden". Strange. | sogoesit
22/8/2018 15:43 | It would also be interesting to know the costs in getting that placing away. Again it's something you'd expect in a transparent RNS. | typo56
22/8/2018 15:41 | I'm not sure I have all the answers either. I have been the sole supporter it seems, for some time on this thread, kept my investment, but, because I was comfortable with the original concept and was dismayed by lack of interest haven't followed every twist and turn in recent weeks. I'm sure if you haven't found the documentation easily typo, I might find the same, but do look at posts from 239 onwards that gives a run-down of the good points here and why I thought it had loads of potential. In the mean=-time I will try to see where we are at too. I have said it before and I will say it again the only criticism I would have of them, was taking on the acquisition so soon. Running before they could walk as it were. The half year report is due out in September and I have been waiting for that to reassess. | hazl
22/8/2018 14:57 | I agree spittingbarrel and think this must be to do with the 'general private placing' announced at the time of the acquisition. Word is they struggled to get the placing away (hence the extended deadline) which may be why the term 'general private placing' has been dropped. I feel they should have spelt that out in today's RNS. As it stands, it's rather opaque and open to AIM-style misinterpretation and misrepresentation! What's to stop Lake Star selling down? | typo56
22/8/2018 14:43 | Typo56 - I just can't imagine anyone paying 70p today, it's not as if liquidity is a particular issue, you could easily get 1.4 million shares sub 50p. | spittingbarrel
22/8/2018 14:34 | spittingbarrel, I wondered about that at first, but checking the shares in issue declarations that's not the case. This is an additional 1.4m shares. Perhaps this is the 'general private placing' that got extended to 31 July. If so, why not say so and why take three weeks to confirm? Hazl will obviously know the answer. | typo56
22/8/2018 14:32 | Hazl, I've done both and haven't found the answers. In fact, most of the RNS's seem to involve the issue of further equity. So care to elaborate on:- What the Lake Star's "orderly market arrangement" actually means. What happened about the 'general private placing' announced on 26 June and extended to 31 July? Judging by the shares in issue declarations this was quietly abandoned. Lack of interest? | typo56
22/8/2018 14:26 | Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this part of the placing back in June to pay for Priori when the share price was around 70p? | spittingbarrel
22/8/2018 14:07 | Oh if only I had more time.......visitors here ....if you really are genuine read back through the RNS's and posts. | hazl
22/8/2018 13:36 | I'm new to this stock but I see Lake Star had an interest in 27.29% of the 16,290,325 consideration shares (excluding those deferred) in relation to the acquisition of Priori Data. i.e. almost 4.4m shares. I note that the Lake Star shares do not appear to be subject to a lock-in period, merely an "orderly market arrangement". Perhaps holders could clarify what that means. To me it sounds like they can sell, as long as effected through the company's brokers. Is this what's trashing the share price, or is it just a duff AIM co? | typo56
22/8/2018 13:13 | What happened to the 'private placing' of 2,318,643 shares at 70p last month which got extended to 31 July? Why no RNS to confirm complete? Why no mention of the fund raising costs / net proceeds today? | typo56
22/8/2018 12:59 | Well there's a completely different and unrelated example! | hazl
22/8/2018 12:39 | I remember plus markets did a large placing above market price. Its long since vanished into insolvency. | my retirement fund
22/8/2018 11:26 | This has some very worthy backers. | hazl
22/8/2018 11:25 | Madness people see the word placing and run a mile.........THEY don't read it properly to see that the agreed price is 70p a share a huge percentage to the current share-price! | hazl
22/8/2018 11:08 | I don't understand. The placing and the acquisition were funded with new shares that were issued at 70p. Cleraly, the investors and Priori cannot believe the shares are worth that price, or they would have been buying in the market until the markey price rose to 70p. So what's the explanation? | mctmct |
