Sorry sogoesit....didn't see your reply till later.
Had a good look at the two announcements early on.
Never had a firm quite like it before!
Odd sort of confidence about them. A mixed bag.
But as I say,the outlook was upbeat, which is very important, so I have absolutely no idea what price they will open at in September if and when they relist!

I think the going concern outlook, though, from an investors point of view
is of note though.8-(

Why would investors pay to sign up for a placing at that price 70p when current share price is 23p?? It doesn’t make any sense. The share price has been well below that placing price for many months.

Typo for yiu......

Ruffena Capital

Lets look at some of the founding investors in this company.
Ruffena Capital
'

Established in 2013, Ruffena Capital has evolved to become a boutique private equity advisory business with its own investment platform - focused on raising true growth capital or alternative finance, typically in the £2-10m range for its clients. Ruffenaâ€;™s investors are largely a private audience of experienced UK and international investors, funds, family offices and certain wealth managers, who prefer established, highly tangible opportunities that can demonstrate the ability to scale and generate returns. Ruffena secured or advised upon over £42m going into client projects over the 2016-17 financial year. In the current year this has risen significantly and Ruffena has also had two clients IPO and one full exit in 2017-18. Ruffena does take on some earlier stage projects, however they must emphatically demonstrate thorough planning; tangible commercial potential; and a workable investment proposition.'

Note the last paragraph....

Very interesting resorting to posting late at night when you have no audience.

I can only imagine that you are part of the 'W team' who if the following poster is correct has done despicably badly with some of his recent shorts.
Because I have no idea I will post his post and leave others to judge.

Just a warning re various shares. Not that you need one when you see what I'm on about but new investors might.

Tom Winn has pumped a few over time and most have done very poorly. EG he made a bet with me that Falanx would be in profit, it wasn't and is floundering.

He has been Big sofa for some time and talked of profit coming. It's been smashed today on results, 47% down but was already down to about 7p/8p from highs 20's now 3.75p today.

NIPT was pushed my way re big news and I always warn re hot tips. The share price did climb but then a fund raise came knocking it back. Who is moaning about that... TW, so I wonder which lot pumped it and put out the hot tip in the first place and up comes the moaning cover story re the fund raise.

DYOR never a trust a word that lot say or any nomad or tip sheet.'

I have no idea if above his correct,as I say.

One thing I do know ...because I had a few, is that WSBN that he PROMOTED, has done terribly badly so that's enough of his tips for me.
I think what has happened here is that he has picked a relatively new entrant to the market before it has had a chance to prove itself and pursued it relentlessly.

All speculation but your relentless nit-picking will get nowhere if the company proves itself.
I believe that quality will out and if this proves to be a poor investment
we will soon know but 'W' in my experience knows no more than the rest of us just has a wider audience.

I don't understand. The placing and the acquisition were funded with new shares that were issued at 70p. Cleraly, the investors and Priori cannot believe the shares are worth that price, or they would have been buying in the market until the markey price rose to 70p. So what's the explanation?

It seems as though a site has been giving us a bad name.
I post because I see lots of 'assumptions 'appear through the article and previous article.
Also, they highlight a previous foray that didn't go well for some members of the team.
In my experience,it is never wise to 'assume'.
Also I know that some of the most successful people have started off with some disaster only to pick themselves right back up and start again!

As much of Aim is sentiment driven, I feel that these articles have been unfair on a firm that has not only just started out, but has not had a chance to prove itself,in a new but possibly profitable industry.

I personally am going to see how their results read and remind myself that these particular critics do not show consistency in my opinion.
Some companies that they have promoted, Wishbone for example, have many of the attributes that this site condemns in others it seems to me.

Appscatter managed to raise 70p a share recently .

Who would I rather believe?
Here we have the offending article full of assumptions.
It is so easy to blacken a company even before it has got off the ground.
I do hope that their results prove these nay-sayers wrong!
Time will tell.

'20.73 per cent. of the Consideration Shares, which will be issued to Priori management, will be subject to a lock-in agreement for an initial period of 12 months and an orderly market arrangement for a further period of 12 months following the expiry of the initial lock-in period. Consideration Shares to be issued to Lake Star, a venture capital investor in Priori, representing 27.29 per cent of the Consideration Shares will be subject to an 18 month orderly market arrangement. The remaining 51.98 per cent. of the Consideration Shares to be issued to the other shareholders of Priori, representing early angel investors shall be subject to a lock-in agreement for an initial period of 6 months and an orderly market arrangement for a further period of 12 months following the expiry of the initial lock-in period. I am bearish on loss-making, overvalued AIM tech stocks. Period.

There are blind investors who don't analyze the stock in detail rush in as the price is pumped up, in LSAI's case I am confident of a placing that will cause huge dilution. A large majority of investors in AIM are just amateurs who gamble, you can see this type of person in full view on LSE boards.

Likely money used on the markets leveraged on credits cards or money transfers with 0% offers.

APPS just happens to be the most overvalued imo and coupled with the most outrageous running costs as revealed today.

I have decided to see what the decision is, because I think the institutions and investors that agreed not to sell for a year, show great faith in the company and if they are prepared to wait I think it bodes well.
It is true that uncertainty irks investors that can sell more easily.
However sometimes bigger risk, brings greater reward.
We will see.
Good luck folks.
