Issue of Equity

Dublin, London, 17 July 2018: Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to the London Stock Exchange for 55,000 new ordinary shares of nominal value EUR0.01 each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to trading on the ESM market of the Irish Stock Exchange and to the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange ("Admission"). Admission is expected to occur on 20 July 2018.

These Ordinary Shares have been allotted pursuant to the exercise of options under the 2014 Share Option Scheme. These Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary Shares.

Following Admission, the allotted, called up and fully paid ordinary shares of Applegreen will be 91,713,158 of nominal value EUR0.01 each.
