Volume picking up and chart looking interesting.

Is there any update due other than litigation settlement confirmation ?

I wonder if due to ongoing litigation they've been keeping shtum on business deals. Why do a deal and shout from the roof tops if it's going to get shat on my worries about litigation.

Clear the decks of the litigation and they can go full bore on deals / PR / IR ?

I will keep an open mind as far as Bill is concerned for now. However, exactly when do we shareholders ever get a fair deal?. AIR need to come out of this with at least 250k to make it worth while & one would have to assume the insurance company regain all costs & only a small percentage of a case win.

Hi MagC - you have me intrigued, you pop up on the AOR board and within 48 hours delete most of your only other post from the SAL board from Nov 14? Not sure what your agenda is?
Are you Maguire in disguise?
Have you spent the last 3 years in a secure hospital?
or
Do you really know something but you shouldn't?

If you are right about a major restructure, the duty of the Board and the new NOMAD is to make sure it is in the best interests of shareholders. If you are so well informed what merits the big win for Bill?

MagC - you seem to be in the know - have you heard anything about new licences or the size of any settlement on the Maguire case. Thanks

They've been engaged in multiple litigation claims and would no doubt be covered by insurance and/or have access to conditional fee arrangements. £2.5m looks a bizarre overestimate.

AorTech International Plc ("Aortech" or the "Company")

As previously announced, AorTech had agreed to a mediation process to resolve the dispute with SynCardia. AorTech is now able to announce that a settlement has been reached. The terms of the settlement are confidential. However, AorTech can confirm that there will be no adjustment required to the AorTech group balance sheet as a result of the Settlement Agreement.

AOR were insured for most of the costs I believe BBR391. So my 200k guess is after all costs etc.

When the case started I did say a conclusion within a year or two is highly unlikely, as these sort of disputes can last years. Would I be happy with 200k?, this entirely depends on what costs have been injected into this case. Yes we were insured but I believe not for all, plus no doubt there is likely a win bonus in it for board members, or am I just being a little cynical.

Guess even 100k meaningful to AOR but main thing is just to draw a line and get on with it

I guess the big question is, exactly how much will the settlement be?
I will start the guessing game with £200k or less & with no news until the new year.

I still have some share certificates from back in the day that I can't get rid of! A reminder, if ever I needed one, of Year 2k. But this looks good, even on a kind of annuity basis, given the miniscule market cap. So I've taken a very small position this morning from my VRS profits.

Thanks Landy - with a bit of luck the share price will work towards that level after the settlement.

"High quality of Revenues: ...... the revenues recognised in the current year are recurring and supported by contracts"

NPV of 10 years revenues discounted at 8% is worth over 55p a share... if the Board gave up and sold contracts back to licensees , that is what they should be aiming at.

If they come up with a plan to exploit the technology then 50p should be the base and target should be well north of £1

I went on their website last night and was blown away

The products/tech/potential all speak to a Company which should be £1+
