Cash situation now very much worse - Make allowance for the cash needed for a possible close down runway and (imo) there needs to be a cash call in the very near future if this is to remain a quoted company. (imo dyor etc)

$64K question - What is the chance of the material gaining approval ??

Indeed. But this stock has been a good trade when it has fallen to similar levels before and then recovered. However, in those cases the RNSs contained good news and I cannot see much upside now.

The trouble is whether to believe the commercial update & exactly how close AOR are in turning such a deal into cash. However, totally agree with Cammy with all the right noises for a cash call which will probably be at a huge discount to the current share price

While all shareholders are understandably desperate for results I strongly believe Roy and Eddie are working flat out cutting costs and building relationships to good effect and the current share price only reflects uncertainty and a lack of any real information.I hope we will hear positive news shortly and confirmation the business has not only been stabilised but offers a platform for sustained profitable growth.
Any positive news will have a corresponding impact on a share price which currently seems to suggest Aortech were about to go out of business rather than reflecting the determination of Roy and Eddie to successfully drive down costs and provide the basis for future profits from Elasteon sales that await imminent FDA clearance from our partner.
The lack of news while frustrating, reflects a desire to only release news that has a material effect on the Co rather than massaging the share price for short term gain.I do feel the coming months will see a substantial re-rating of the share price as confirmation of progress is evidenced.
Patience should be rewarded

in a week it will be six months since aor last gave an rns . Is this actions of a well run company or the signal that things are not as rosy as some investors believe. Maybe the end is nigh.

Any company with any consideration for shareholder interest would today, after a fall of almost 20% make an announcement to the market.
Either disclosing the reason they believe for the fall or, they know of no reason.

Anyone remember this from chairman statement AUG 2013:

" Your Board has strived to implement a strategy which will enable the Group to achieve both growth and profitability to enhance shareholder value"


Almost 6 months in to 2014 and a share price that has halved in value and the fools running this company still will not give an update.
I was astonished to see some buying last week and wondered who in their right mind would invest in a company with a BoD like this who have absolutely no regard for shareholders.

Showing 69p offer but RSP is really 62.95p so you can buy 6p cheaper than the monitor shows.
