AO World plc (the "Company")

Grant of SAYE Options and Director / PDMR Shareholding

AO World plc ("the Company") announces that on 23 December 2021 the Company granted options ("Options") over 4,028,001 ordinary shares of 0.25p each ("Ordinary Shares") pursuant to the AO World plc 2022 Sharesave Scheme.

The Options have a contract start date of 1 March 2022 and are exercisable between 1 March 2025 and 31 August 2025. The exercise price, which was set in accordance with HM Revenue & Customs rules for sharesave plans, is 88 pence per Ordinary Share.

Within the options described above, 20,454 Options were granted to John Roberts, Chief Executive Officer. These options replace the 5,421 options granted under the 2021 AO Sharesave Scheme which Mr Roberts has closed. Further, 20,454 Options were granted to Mark Higgins, Chief Financial Officer.
