AO World plc announces that it received notification on 17 March 2023 that, on 17 March 2023, John Roberts, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, transferred, at nil cost, 1,468,189 ordinary shares of 0.25p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company to charity. As a result of this transaction, John Roberts' beneficial holding is 105,885,876* Ordinary Shares representing 18.35% of the current issued share capital of the Company.

(*holding includes 882,350 Ordinary Shares held by Sally Roberts, a person with whom John is closely associated, but excludes Ordinary Shares held by Crystalcraft Limited, a company of which he is a director and shareholder)
