Copper prices down just over 9% in a month.Housing starts in the US and china falling =lower demand for copper etc so maybe not at real bargain levels yet.

Antofagasta PLC on Wednesday warned that its 2022 copper production will be at the bottom end of the 660,000-690,000 metric tons guidance range.

The company's Los Pelambres operation has been affected by a leak in the concentrate pipeline this month. Antofagasta said repairs have started and the pipeline should resume by the end of June.

"During the shutdown the processing plant has been operating at lower rates of throughput, with concentrates being stockpiled at the plant. These will be transferred to the port between July and October using the spare capacity of the pipeline," the Chile-focused mining company said.

I'm well down, my average is about 1680 and I don't like to keep averaging down because if it keeps dropping then you become a mug running out of funds.

It's down because parts of China are in lock down and hence their Economy slowed down so comms have dropped especially copper, copper was trading around $4.80 lb now it's around $4.28, also it went Ex-div and there was a massive sell off before Ex-div, both copper prices and the EX-div has knocked the price unfortunately.

I'm just going to wait it out and let the copper price rise.

Have a look at AAL that is also very cheap.

Gardenboy, I have been in Eramet also for 3 weeks or also. Obviously the upfront costs and conversion rate don't make it cheap to get in, but the share as done fantastically since, up around 40% in a month.Apologies for off topic.

karateboy, Where did you get that ex div date of the 21st March? Most I have just checked are indicating 21st April.

88p dividend is declared with ex date on 21/4/22. So we should expect some action on share price next few weeks.
