Those comments seem a bit harsh.
Provided the company is doing well, which it seems to be, and if the award isn't a cover for any problems, which I don't think it is, an award of this sort is to be welcomed if they can use it for marketing purposes. All other things being equal, if it enables them to gain a bit more business or exposure then on balance it is good news I would have thought.

Quite right. It would almost certainly be treated as irrelevant everywhere around the world.
Additionally many years ago an award for industry or exports was looked upon by most as the kiss of death and often was!
I have always been suspicious of companies that seek awards. Best to let good product, service etc.do the talking.
I'm certain any company in trouble or with something to hide might well look to an award to gloss things over.
That said, I do not for one think that is the issue with Anpario. But maybe they should focus on other than aiming to win meaningless awards!

Queen's Award seems to be regarded as no news!

A useful flag for marketing, I would have thought, but maybe it's not relevant to sales in most of the world.

Good news about RBC, but not sure how they managed to buy the approx. 350,000 additional shares, or from where?
Yesterday it looked as though there had been a buy rec. or a positive write-up from somewhere with all the relatively small purchases going through, but not seen anything as yet.
