Pump & dump - as predicted.

Probably already forward selling in prep for Thursday's rubber stamped discount placing.

Yawn... yawn... yawn... George.

JA51: I think it’s closer to 900mm, isn’t it? Otherwise yes, that’s how I read it too. I think we’re all expecting a placing very soon, though do you think that yesterday’s shenanigans might scupper that? You’re not supposed to tell investors you’re expecting a bid for your company and follow that within two weeks with a placing at a price higher than prevailed when you made that announcement, what? Even the FCA, presented with the facts of such a case (I can assure you they would be, if it happened) would have to have a look at it. And the LSE/AIM. And one or two journalists.

A question if I may?

So I think we established they could issue around 800 Million new shares come next Thursday if passed?
Despite being able to issue arround 300 million now? And if the GM takes place in March as normal they would be in a situation to vote to add more again if they use the allocation up? is that correct?

JA51: I agree with your conclusion. They’ve delegated the decision, as I read it, to the planning officer. From what limited contact I’ve had with them, I’d say he’s going to rubber stamp it without delay. I suppose the local council and residents could cause enough of a stink to get it referred back to the Committee but I doubt it.

But the issue now is, Anguish appears to be seriously short of the money required to finish it. The auditors have probably had a word in the Earls’ shell-like ear rolls, what? The game’s up, boys, sorry. No amount of planning approval will pay for the remaining works.

It will be interesting to see if there’s an announcement in the next few days of a small reduction in Frazer’s Holding, what?

Sincero, I did say share price spike aside...

Sure, I'll grant that those in the know will have made a very nice percentage gain if they quick flipped. That goes without saying.

One would indeed hope that progress is continuing - after all, ANGS still faces the exact same time-fixed obligations that it had a week ago. There is a change there though... the "formal consideration of a sale" RNS also snuck in news of more delays and cost over-runs. Hopefully not too concerningly significant though.

I really don't think (especially with a view to track record) that too much store can be set by ANGS's supplied answers to any investor question - I mean, what alternative tone would you honestly expect them to adopt?

As to the imminent (E)GM? Yes, the resolution will be agreed, I am sure (and it's pretty much a single resolution meeting).

However, given:-

i) the specific nature of that single resolution,
ii) the news of more cost over-runs,
iii) the oddly rushed timing of the meeting (just 10 weeks prior to the AGM), and
iv) the sudden seemingly manufactured share price spike just prior to said meeting...

...I'm next to certain another placing is imminent

Headinthesand not a lot has happened apart from a price increase that appears to be holding . Your 'how much gas and when' mantra is still relevant . However if bids are forthcoming and far more importantly by who this will dictate where this road winds.

hi hits , what has changed ? well share price is up quite a bit ..nice return in 5 days for some . progress continues to be made . potential bids . i did mention that the tone of the q&a replies showed confidence , appears i was right again.

lets see what comes out of the meeting , not a lot probably , all resolutions agreed etc etc . maybe i was also right about their might not be a placing ....

oh and one thing that hasn't changed is the grey old disingenuous crayon eaters, who have shown the hands , are still posting negative supposition ...how embarrassing ...

Ja51oiler you seem muddled and not for the first time . Yesterday they had no planning permission today you say they do . These attempts at deceit are mediocre and you keep getting yourself unmasked. Sadly your cohorts continue to support and therefore find themselves equally sullied. Yours and their recent days postings have been very enlightening but unfortunately for all the wrong reasons.

The original site planning was decided by the planning officer (the same one as this) and was actually decided a couple of weeks before the 13 weeks advised from recollection.

The sidetrack surprisingly went to committee in the end after showing as delegated.

They can continue the works as I understand it but they don't have the permission in place to do so for any works beyond the first permission...such as the flare base, digging out the bunding bank, and the new layout for the compressors.

I guess in theory the council could issue a prohibition notice to stop the works?

In all likelihood, they have been given the nod that they can continue but it's obviously still a risk that something may crop up......Like the Acoustics, light pollution from the vastly bigger footprint, flare size, etc.

I think this will probably go to the committee and the DB limit on the site be re-introduced for the sake of residents present and future.

AIMHO of course. Ultimately up to local residents to comment.

It was so much more serene here yesterday without the puerile pointless comments from 1347. Another oddity that showed his true colours , price rises a truant. Price stable returns. Really offers nothing to the debate except whimpering. One really does have to question these 'humans' self respect and why they bother.

As I thought price today and for the next few days will demonstrate the route of travel. If an offer comes or rumour of offer should drive this price higher .

Looks like yesterday's Company Cheerleader Rampathon has almost fizzled out.

Probably since there are so few gullible investors left on planet Earth these days, who don't know Anguish Energy's potted history of previous failed promises.

There'll always be a few traders bobbing in and out... but without serious volume from serious investors... the share price is going nowhere IMHO until George confesses the volume and price of the next placing to keep the lights on.

CQ ;-)
