Sorry, cudswallop, your word appears to exist, though only in the kind of lexicon that includes every possible combination of letters. Sadly, it appears to apply more to you than you could have realised:

“Urban Dictionary: Bafoon

A moron who thinks he is smarter than others but cannot spell the word 'buffoon'”

I think it’s time you chaps stopped bleating this tripe about the supposed motives of the rational people posting on this site. Shouldn’t you be topping up, averaging down or whatever it is you people do?

Re the bumpy headed troll, this is the best he can put up: “ the fact remains the company is increasingly confident that it will produce, shell are in , so are mercuria ....”. Very funny. The company is increasingly confident! Ho, ho, very good. Shell are in! Ha ha ha. I bought some bread this morning. It’s true I was in the baker’s shop but that doesn’t mean I’m confident he’ll still be in business in six months time. So are Mercuria! Hee hee hee. Of course they are. Their presence, and the usurious loan of which they appear to be the principal beneficiary, are among the factors that make this an extremely dodgy investment.

Still, this is the closest he’s managed to get to analysis. I suppose we should be thankful for small mercies, what?

What’s all this about “they’ve got a £1mm contingency so they’ll be fine..”? There’s a reason for a contingency reserve (it’s £1.4mm) and it can be too much or too little. Relying on a budgeted item to come in under budget to rescue you is not a good idea. Particularly when the whole project is coming in late. In any case, there’s nothing in the budget for g&a expenses, is there? £2.5mm p.a.? And Anguish had very little cash at the last balance sheet date.

Meanwhile, I wonder how that Bill Oddie lookalike is getting on with that spanner/starting handle thing in Great Yarmouth?

So Dave... are you claiming that ANGS is waiting on no permissions from any relevant regulatory body re the sidetrack? Are you claiming that it's had all the permissions and approvals it needs to drill the sidetrack and to get to first gas since July?

I'll be more than interested in your answer...

Gaffer you say "...plenty even with a delay." Sadly, you're quite incorrect about the timing being irrelevant.

ANGS and SEL have substantial debt financing payments to make within six months' time, so they're (obviously) going to have needed to have generated enough spare cash out of Poundland by that point to cover these (because neither outfit has any other income stream).

So... every single month the schedule continues to slip now (and from ANGS's originally assured estimate they're by now 15 months late and counting) is another month of delay getting to first gas and so another month of lost revenue to go towards that fat debt repayment obligation. Things are starting to come down to the wire.

Where's all the equipment that we were assured would be delivered onsite last month?

Where's the required concrete hardstanding in yesterday's decidedly odd Twitter pictures?

When will they get permission for the sidetrack?

When will the sidetrack now be attempted?

Given all the above and the fact that October schedules are the latest to have been missed, is the latest revised CPR estimate of first gas by mid-March honestly still realistic? (Yes it's more realistic than George's latest ever-changing Feb 22 prediction, but mid Q2 looks ever more probable for every single day of nothing happening that goes by right now).

Above all...

How much gas and by when?

It’s always been £4.45mm. £3mm. repayment of capital (it’s an amortising loan) and £1.44-1.45 of annual interest at 12%+Sonia.

We don’t actually know the detailed repayment terms. It could be monthly. The loan is £12mm. The latest CPR predicts they’ll need £12.67mmm. to get to first gas. They can’t borrow any more under the present charges. And if the Lenders didn’t intend to exercise the charges in the event that the chumps in charge of this fouled up again, why did they take 6 months to finalise the terms?

Idiots cause mischief on board Operating as "we" who hold a negative position.Bunch of idiots for sure.Gaffer they are well cheesed off in a AIM small cap stealth market they can't get share price to 0.60p Berenberg desperate showing quite often 22m-99m shares on bid at 0.55-0.60p tells me everything I need to know.

Now it's 4.45m. Yes, if there is no first gas obviously there will be no revenue. The last predicted revenue for those months was £17m, plenty even with a delay.
