Does anyone know how many successful and unsuccessful side tracks have been drilled at well 7?

Maybe these numbers can be used as a percentage wise risk assessment of the odds of this next side track being successful. Just a thought?

The group is like any group , some ramp/ de-ramp etc. A couple of people were locked out for ramping the socks off it at 0.7. It seems to be a decent group , I would probably stay clear of the main trading groups as some of them have over 2k members and it's very rampy. The smaller groups are quite good for sharing info like that email I put up here.

As for the Telegram group, might as well join the Scientologists if you want a rigidly controlled narrative where any deviation from the hymnsheet is instantly censored as a thought crime.... it'd be cheaper.

I agree that permission for the sidetrack being granted is a good thing for ANGS - because it was essential. I'm sure George already knows he needs that sidetrack to be successful if Poundland is to have any chance of producing enough gas to cover its substantially increased costs, including financing costs. Getting permission to drill one so is therefore a bullet (or coffin nail) dodged, far more than anything else. Though the question remains - what are the chances of a successful Well 7 sidetrack, given repeated previous failed attempts? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

So, roll on late Q1 2022, which is the earliest we might get independently audited news as to actual recoverable volumes out of Saltfleetby. For ANGS, despite its own efforts to big up geothermal and the synchronised efforts of the cheerleaders to assure otherwise, it literally all hangs on that.
