Well, Gibbo, since you clearly know so little, I’ll tell you, though you’ll have to figure it out for yourself in future, I’m done with teaching you about stocks and shares.

While Anguish is in talks with its advisers, it understandably prefers the appearance of a stable share price for a minimal cash outlay. The price is up so far on low volume. Well done! Quite irrelevant. Normal service will soon be resumed.

Or it could be that someone with the IQ of one of the lesser primates has taken a tiny punt.

Gibbo: your 7.48 post started well but tailed off a bit.

Your second is a bit thick. People debate a company’s merits on these bbs. No one who thinks a company’s share price is going to plunge will hold the shares. So you're advocating a bb only for people who are bullish. Not much of a debate. Open to manipulation by unscrupulous day traders.

Headinthesand - the only trolls round here bud is you and your time wasting friends who don't own a share, yet persist on spending your life talking about something you don't own. Take a look at yourself old bean.

You two scamps have a lot to say for yourselves and about people of whom you know nothing, but you don’t seem to have anything at all to say about Anguish. Though you apparently believe what the interim MD tells you!

Here’s the gist of what he says:

The £12mm. they didn’t need to get to first gas is over-subscribed and will be forthcoming in the near term. First gas in the third quarter of 2021. The loan terms and the associated Aleph hedging deals will leave Anguish with returns close to those forecast in the CPR.

The Weald assets have been re-evaluated again and just need the relevant permissions in order to test highly promising formations. There’s no reason these permissions will not be granted.

There’s no need to discuss short term financing, because the loan will fulfil all their requirements.

Here’s what I think:

Poundland is close to unbankable. In the unlikely event that they get a £12mm. loan, the terms will be so onerous that Anguish will continue to need placings every year to keep the lights on. Meanwhile the interim MD will continue extending deadlines which have already been extended for close to six months.

The Weald assets are worthless and the newly reinterpreted seismic is being used as a smokescreen to avoid the need fully to provide for abandonment and rehabilitation.

The short term need for more cash is pressing. They’re unlikely to get a loan in time, so they’ll need another placing. Their financial advisers may or may not be willing to support this in view of the poor outlook for Poundland and the company’s and its auditor’s opinion on Anguish’s going concern status in the absence of a loan. .

AIM is supposed to be an investment market, not a casino. Day traders willing to gamble may make some money in Anguish occasionally. Longer term investors are likely to earn no return on it at all and risk losing their whole investment. I’m only interested in longer term investment.

Sincero, for all your continuing attempts to duck the question, I note that you are still incapable of producing one single piece of evidence, fact or achievement to support your frankly laughable claim that the Angus board "knows what it's doing".

Perhaps hardly a surprise, since every single piece of available evidence firmly supports the entirely opposite position..

But you keep on dodging now. Do that long enough and maybe just maybe your entire lack of any response won't be noticed.

Seriously, most dodgy AIM stocks have a collection of more adept trolls than this. However, looking at its depressingly lacklustre and talentless small crew of cheerleaders, ANGS can't even do propaganda and fake news competently either.

Well, I shan’t be offering Jonathan any more investment tutorials. It’s rather in the category of casting pearls before swine (no George, not Shakespeare).

HITS: he’s like a more or less sober Mark Barker, rambling. It’s hard to follow him but then logic is not a strong suit at Anguish, is it? Or syntax. But if he wants to continue parading his ignorance in this way, I suppose we can continue to poke fun at him. What? Rather..

I notice with no surprise whatsoever that Sincero has decided to duck the perfectly reasonable question I asked of him, namely to point to just one single real-world fact or achievement to give even a little credence in the face of the mountain of counter-evidence to his fervent claim that the Angus board "knows what it's doing".

His inability/refusal to answer is of course answer enough in and of itself. Nuff said.

chickenfarage - "Angus Energy are looking to recruit a new MD" i note on your profile it says managing director , you realise selling your old tat on ebay does not constitute being a company and therefore doesn't make you an MD but feel free to apply .

jtisbadly "Yes, I’d take my analysis of the accounts and subsequent events over anything this management might say" i repeat wow , i think i will say it again as well, wow....

Deplorable age discrimination, what, what?

Yes, I’d take my analysis of the accounts and subsequent events over anything this management might say. They could prove me wrong by getting the £12mm. loan, on terms they can afford. Good luck with that. This isn’t a good time to become a stale bull. The interim MD is not very kind to them.

Anguish will be roasted before the potatoes are, I should think.

Jonathan got that right, at least. The reason he doesn’t answer a straight question is that he thinks the Board knows what it’s doing! It’s excellent stuff, this, isn't it? I hope he’ll keep contributing, these bbs can be quite amusing. Haw Haw! What?
