15/2/2021 20:09 | Does anyone know if any works are happening at Saltfleetby lately? There seemed to be a lot of pictures and videos of progress leading up to the last placing and then nothing since 26 January with the last picture of a long muddy track. Was that posted on purpose to say we can see you coming or is it a road to nowhere!!! | chickndinner
15/2/2021 19:08 | The report and accounts are normally out in the first week of March (in 2016 it was end-December). Will these be delayed, would you say, to co-incide with the accounts of their Poundland partner, SE? They should make interesting reading. | jtidsbadly
15/2/2021 16:59 | I see the latest Q&A lists two of LLtm’s questions, heavily Bowdlerised. I’d be miffed if I were him, his original questions were better. | jtidsbadly
15/2/2021 11:31 | Sheriff, Yes... I agree. Good call. Ocelot's unflinching optimism impresses me the most: after so many wrong calls on U-Dog and Anguish over the past years - as both SP's plow their furrow ever downward - you would think he would give in FINALLY and admit defeat? But he's having none of it... IMHO he'll still be smiling & posting the good news as the liquidators start emptying out both offices. CQ ;-) | clottedq
15/2/2021 08:30 | JA51: no, I’m not expecting anything remotely close to £12mm. A sum matching what they raised in the recent placing is more like it. Any lender would need to have some confidence in Angus’s management(!) and to be very bullish on gas prices, medium-term. Exciting, isn't it? | jtidsbadly
15/2/2021 07:28 | JT I cant see Riverfort getting involved with anything near £12 million. If you check their recent RNS's they mention having around £3.5 Million to invest. They also chose not to lend the last 2 Tranches of previous CLN back in March last year, despite Angus paying them for the privilege. They do however have many "coinkydink's" when it comes to Angus & Mr F/Forum Energy Services/Saltfleetby Energy and the involvement over at AAOG so who knows? | ja51oiler
14/2/2021 19:03 | CQ LLtm , our Good Doctor would occasionally 'double' or switch sides to give himself some credibility when none was left. I expect the same to continue under Gallifreyan. | sheriffcollins
13/2/2021 17:38 | JA51: I’m thinking in terms of a bullish announcement of a fresh Riverfort convertible at 15%. | jtidsbadly
13/2/2021 17:24 | Why does he keep bleating on about NEW MANAGEMENT? They have been in position for 2 years now!! You must wonder if this is being orchestrated ahead of the “we have agreed to another month for Aleph to finish the paperwork RNS......... It would be no surprise for some if the next one was “We weren’t able to come to terms bombshell! There is more than cold weather stopping the pipeline pics coming through, and I’m sure Alephs “funding partners” if they exist won’t be impressed with this now in week 19!! | ja51oiler
13/2/2021 14:58 | Yes LancashireLifeTM appears to be turning, as worms are said to. I wonder how many of those questions he’s sending in. He should also ask where the registered office is now and whether they’re still looking for someone to run the company who’s got any oil or gas experience. Re Vonk, I think the present management may merely have been setting a precedent. When the present noble (but is he permanent?) MD is finally ousted or so humiliated he feels he has no other choice, I imagine the last of the shareholders’ hard-earned may find its way out of the door with him. | jtidsbadly
13/2/2021 14:43 | I have no doubt that those professionally connected to angus are posting on lse. I was told that Vonk use to "laugh" at what was written. Guess the pay off was another laugh. | wolfofthewoods
13/2/2021 14:34 | Haven't checked in here in a while... or checked out Anguish LSE BB. Impressed to see that our Good Doctor (Gallifreyan) has apparently regenerated again (or so it appears) and now seems to be batting for our side? Just shows you how bad this company really is, when even one of its' hardened cheerleaders begins questioning the operational management of the company doesn't it? Never thought I would see the day that "common-sense" at last prevailed across both platforms! WOW! CQ ;-) | clottedq
12/2/2021 17:27 | JA51: that's a fact. | jtidsbadly
12/2/2021 17:06 | Mmmmmm well .....It didn't hit 2p did it.... 3 weeks from the last pipeline update...16 weeks over schedule now.....Funding deadline missed again......a placing in between.....More likely to hit 0.2p if they don't get the funding.....that's a fact! | ja51oiler
12/2/2021 12:58 | Headinthesand: the Aleph contract is renewable by mutual consent, so the 3-month deadline may not apply. Meanwhile, the pipeline, not yet completed, has already taken more than six times as long as the management predicted. JA51: a little anxiety is seeping into the cheerleaders on the other site. | jtidsbadly
12/2/2021 08:35 | I'm sure someone said 2p this week, on Monday wasn't it?...doesn't look likely, does it? | ja51oiler
11/2/2021 17:02 | Hits: yes, I may even have a line too many.. I’m not sure it was worth the minimal effort but you don’t need to be F R Leavis (or any other Cambridge English graduate) to get the gist. | jtidsbadly
11/2/2021 16:22 | 10/10 for effort, JT - gotta love a bit of Ozzie. However only 7/10 for implementation, because your scansion and rhyme scheme is off here and there. | headinthesand
10/2/2021 21:51 | Sorry I will Filter out fools like you | zxie
10/2/2021 17:01 | I’m afraid I got so bored I resorted to another poem. Admirers of the Romantic poets, and particularly of P.B. Shelley, please stop reading now: I met a traveller from Saltfleetby who said “Two vast redundant flanges of steel Stand in the fields. Near them, in the mud, Half sunk, an unconnected pipeline lies, whose rust, And hydrogen-ready coating, and lime-lined trench, Tell that its designer failed to do his sums And yet continued with his pet - Funding it with placings and with debt. Sadly, no tribute to this man was done: But if it had, would the inscription read thus? ‘My name is Tim but Dim, Earl of Earls, Gaze on my works, ye shareholders, and despair.' Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare, The lone and level fens stretch far away.” | jtidsbadly
10/2/2021 09:34 | JA51: I think they may have been under water and now the trenches will be full of snow. If they’ve paid outstanding invoices with a large part of the placing money, they’ll need the financing quickly or may not be able to restart the work. They must be hugely over budget on the pipeline, the noble Wilkins Micawber said in an interview early last year that he’d be “very, very upset” if they found themselves trying to put it in in November/December. Do we expect to read of the involvement of Riverfort again soon? | jtidsbadly
10/2/2021 09:10 | Nearly 2 weeks now since any pipeline pics or updates & a placing in-between.Do you think they have down tools and are waiting for the £12 million? After all if they don't get it there's little point in continuing is there! | ja51oiler
08/2/2021 18:43 | chickndinner: I think they’re buying equipment that wasn’t necessary before - the Theddlethorpe refinery did it. | jtidsbadly
08/2/2021 18:36 | Maybe a question worth asking is what equipment is on order to get poundland back up and running and what happened to the equipment taken away? Also what was the old equipment taken away sold for and how much are Anguish paying to buy back? Also. Are Anguish purchasing the same old equipment or is this from a new source? | chickndinner |
