25/8/2021 15:01 | LLB - good work. Is PYXIS Royalties the vehicle they used to acquire the VB stream deal? Looks like it to me? cheers | illiswilgig
25/8/2021 14:47 | Interesting that, from the interview he gave below, JT is indicating that disposal of the remaining coal assets might be higher on the agenda than (say) anything to do with LIORC. Presumably the proceeds would go a long way to both clearing the debt and financing our planned commitment to our existing investments … | cocopah
25/8/2021 14:26 | So 1 of the questions is what is JT doing next as he focuses new projects after APF..? Patrick Meier, Chairman, commented: APF is barely recognisable from that which he took over, and he had the vision and leadership to pivot towards commodities which will be vital to achieving climate change goals with sustainability firmly at the forefront. His commitment and astute investment skills have been key to our success. On behalf of the Board, I would like to give our appreciation for all Julian has done in creating the Company which we are today. He will leave after the transition period with our very best wishes, and we have no doubt that he will continue to be successful in whatever he does next. It is probably not a coincidence that: PYXIS Royalties Ltd of 1 Savile Row, London, United Kingdom, W1S 3JR incorporated on 12.01.2021, Kevin Flynn appointed director on 13.01.2021 and share capital increased to GBP 61.5M on 27.04.2021.., so I think we can surmise what he/they are up to next.. APF is in a very strong position and will further evolve on its own with new leadership and we can follow events / JT if there is an IPO on the above... :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
25/8/2021 14:02 | Are you implying he has shown poor judgement in recent deals? | grahamburn
25/8/2021 11:55 | One suspects he'll probably hang on to them. He's not short of cash afterall. If he does sell, them I think that tells us a lot. | the deacon
25/8/2021 11:09 | I guess one question is - what will JT be doing with his (approx) 3.7 million shares? | lcwanderer

25/8/2021 09:12 | I was surprised by the CEO's decision to move on. He has transformed the company in his 8 year tenure, but the transformation job is by no means completed. It feels like JT was APF..A big hole to fill, but everyone is replaceable in business. A surprise none the less. | haywards26
25/8/2021 08:53 | #Cocopops, debt reduction in H1 was too optimistic IMO, consider the fine balance of debt to earnings gearing, the dividends already planned, and the lag on the new VB income.. We will see debt reduce from and during H2 as the portfolio income increases, and the 3.75p dividend now paid.. New CEO appointment is a way off, ... or is it..! | laurence llewelyn binliner
25/8/2021 08:40 | As passive investors in this company, if we believe that the new direction is the right one (and I think everybody invested now probably does) there is no more to do than sit on one’s hands until the share price recovers (hopefully on good Q3 results of £13m+ income). I would’ve liked to have seen news on debt reduction. It will be interesting to see the choice of successor and though we might speculate we will never know the reason or timing for the departure of JT. 🤷a | cocopah
25/8/2021 08:37 | New NED ex CEO of De Beers Trading Company hired on Monday, current CEO announced on Wednesday he wishes to move on mid 2022 .. #Cocopops, jam tomorrow is the very nature of a commodity based royalty company where trailing income is 100% geared to prevailing prices, H1 earnings are not a surprise as we knew them already last month, the update outlines why stronger income is expected in H2 which is great news for us.. :o) On LIORC, it looks like we still hold our shares, and 1 reason our H1 income was light here was we missed the XD to fund the VB acquisition which was disappointing, but necessary.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
25/8/2021 08:29 | Blue line for Cobalt? I don't think you need go back more than 5 years, Anglo Pacific is a different company now. On the Cobalt aquisition that was a very wise forward looking move. Furthermore with BHP leaving the LSE, APF is likely to be in demand as part of a rebalancing exercise by funds. | bountyhunter
25/8/2021 08:27 | That is the support line ( blue line --- for chart newbies ) Which could well imo be tested soon dyor | buywell3

25/8/2021 08:07 | Debt has to be paid Cobalt will soon IMO not be all the rage The chart is now in down trend and the market is not impressed | buywell3
25/8/2021 08:05 | Don't be so completely silly. The increase of circa $75m in net debt is soley due to the $205m Voisey Bay stream acquisition, which is the core of a key diversification strategy away from coal. This has already contributed $3.12m in the first few months. You clearly don't understand the business model. | masurenguy
25/8/2021 07:50 | Underwhelming Net debt of $108.9m at the end of June 2021 ($33.3m at the beginning of the year) Overwhelming | buywell3
25/8/2021 07:41 | The market will welcome the confirmation of 5.25p dividends to be paid in the next 6 months .... by which time we will know the new CEO - the change will no doubt bring new opportunities. | melody9999
25/8/2021 07:41 | Hopefully priced in that's why we are in the 120's and not the 140's | tommygriff
25/8/2021 07:41 | H2 looking very strong and working towards low carbon going forwards. | bountyhunter
25/8/2021 07:39 | Hmm … not the best of news. No substance on early Q3 or LIORIC, just more ‘jam tomorrow’ and a departing CEO who was ‘the company’. I fear the worst on opening and no positives until the Q3 results are in. 🤔😣 | cocopah
25/8/2021 07:36 | Yes, quite a loss but the operation is strong. The previous CEO was a master deal maker and they found JT - I expect a few will line up for the role if there isn't one in-house already. The results look solid. The market will probably react badly with the JT news but if it does, an investment opportunity will present itself. GLA PS: Glad to hear about the Narrabri review. | johnrxx99 |
