29/12/2020 09:43 | Strong start here.., consider where Nickel could be in 3/4/5 years time when demand is scaled up from the EV revolution, it might be USD 17,000 a Tonne today, but see the historic price chart for reference of what can (and did) happen in 2011/2012.. That is the Kestrel substitute taken care of in 1 stroke with the royalty upgrade option.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
29/12/2020 09:17 | QP - I doubt that anyone here is ignorant enough to think that air pollution doesn't matter. I get your point about coal being the main source of income for APF, but in return I think you may have missed that APF has now seen the light. ESG concerns by major investors have forced a change of direction. APF will not be making any more investments in fossil fuels and will direct available funds towards sustainable investments only. Some change . | lord gnome

29/12/2020 08:32 | Hey Sam and pockie, It is clear that you both think that AIR POLLUTION is a laughing matter. Here's a link to the WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION web-site which estimates that 4.2 MILLION DEATHS occur as a result of exposure to outdoor air pollution EVERY YEAR:- hXXps://www.who.int/ You'll probably find that very amusing as well. Most won't COP26 will undoubtedly pile massive further pressure on Institutional investors to radically cut investments in the polluting industries this year. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
29/12/2020 08:26 | Ironically he bangs on about the importance of ESG as a reason to not buy APF, but what he fails to understand is that one of the company aims is to be a leader in mining finance ESG a few years from now, and are pivoting their portfio to reflect that. Today's RNS just further highlights this. Coal exposure is rapidly depleting, and being replaced by nickel, cobalt, copper and other metals synonymous with the electrification thematic and greening of the planet. | the deacon
29/12/2020 08:06 | Well hats off to Que for calling the bottom again | pockstones
29/12/2020 07:56 | ...or $14.5m per year if they choose to purchase the additional royalty. Looks like Piaui is being fast tracked, with some significant stakeholders, and APF clearly see this as a key asset going forward | the deacon
29/12/2020 07:41 | Nickel news Under Anglo Pacific's existing 1.25% GRR, the investment which cost US$2 million in 2017 is expected to contribute US$4.3 million per annum once fully ramped up, and US$67.2 million over the life of mine assuming a long term nickel price of 17,848 per tonne. | orinocor
26/12/2020 05:10 | I was a little worried about China banning Aussie coal so maybe it will hit Kestrel but I don't think it will be too bad. From last Adaro Energy financial report >>>> Kestrel Coal Mine (Kestrel) In 9M20, saleable coal production volume at Kestrel reached 4.06 Mt, 15% lower than in 9M19. Meanwhile its coal sales volume of 4.35 Mt in 9M20, was 7% lower y-o-y. In 3Q20, Kestrel’s saleable coal production volume was 0.87 Mt and coal sales volume was 1.10 Mt. Kestrel sold its hard coking coal mainly to major customers in the Asian markets and has contracted the majority of its sales for 2020. India remained as the largest sales destination in 9M20 followed by South Korea and Japan. Adaro Energy (48%) and EMR Capital Ltd (52%) own 80% of Kestrel. <<<< | gramshaw

24/12/2020 15:25 | Looking forward to COP26. I do hope that Greta Thunberg features heavily. COP26 will pile further ESG pressure next year for sure. And we know the impact of that. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
24/12/2020 13:35 | I suppose posting drivel keeps him out of more serious trouble. Merry Christmas! | woodhawk
24/12/2020 13:15 | Have blocked the twit ages ago. Always drive my diesel car and light my wood burner when I see his name. A rude uneducated man..... and deeply troubled | sam 4224

24/12/2020 10:30 | Gets asked a question about market driven performance time-lines - and gives a nonsensical reply based on personal p&l performance. ..yeah right.... ..suggest you buy the beginner's guide (or Dummy's Guide) to investing. | quepassa
24/12/2020 10:16 | I am new to this thread. Is Quepassa someone who bought high with more than they could afford, then panic sold and would have been better off staying calm. Now appeases their pent up aggression posting? If so Quepassa my advice and wishes for you in 2021 is get over your losses. The world really doesn't care, the same it doesn't care if/when you do well by your decisions. Work on your investing skills | madengland_
23/12/2020 22:18 | pockstones, It's far easier just to filter these bitter and twisted losers. They never learn. | woodhawk
23/12/2020 21:16 | Shame about the ongoing EMBARGO BY CHINA ON AUSTRALIAN COAL IMPORTS Article here in The Sydney Morning Herald:- hXXps://www.smh.com. A very WORRYING development. pokkie thinks NEGATIVE 37.5% share price performance by APF over 12 months is a good performance. I guess by her standards, it is. Nice to see Scottish Mortgage UP by 100% this year. | quepassa
23/12/2020 21:00 | Que was last posting around September third since when we have had a handy rise he is an excellent indicator so long as he is used as a contra indicator and we should welcome him back | pockstones
23/12/2020 18:02 | The day you buy versus the day you sell. Add in dividends which look well covered and strong. Apologies for previous acerbic response, too much grogg. Good luck holders, to me this looks a bargain at this level | madengland_
23/12/2020 15:34 | I totally agree the share price performance has been disappointing - that is precisely why I bought in heavily at around the bottom. Onwards and upwards and a very nice divi while we wait. BTW Looks like a Brexit deal may be in the bag. | woodhawk
23/12/2020 10:44 | QuePassa I agree that the share price performance of APF is disappointing this year but surely that jut provides a great opportunity? In the meantime you get a really good dividend stream - which will eventually be noticed by the rest of the market and the price will rise. I hope you dont miss it. | longterm56 |
