Anglo-Eastern Plantations Plc announces a correction to the dividend announcement made on 29 April 2022 under RNS Number 8566J . The reference date for the conversion of the dividend to Pounds Sterling for relevant shareholders is 10 June 2022 not 14 June 2022 as originally announced (in the third paragraph). There are no further changes; the amended announcement appears below in full.

Final dividend - determination of US$ Dollar equivalent and Dividend Reinvestment Plan

Further to the announcement made by AEP on 29 April 2022, the Company is announcing further details in respect of the US dollar equivalent and Dividend Reinvestment Plan for the final dividend.

As was announced on 29 April 2022, the Company proposes to pay a final dividend of 5.0cts per share in respect of the year ended 31 December 2021 (2020: 1.0cts). Subject to the approval by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting, the final dividend will be paid on 15 July 2022 to those shareholders on the register on 10 June 2022.

In addition, the Company announced that shareholders can choose to receive dividends in Pounds Sterling and they can do so at the rate ruling on 10 June 2022, being the dividend record date. In the absence of any specific instruction up to the date of closing of the register on 10 June 2022, shareholders with addresses in the UK are deemed to have elected to receive their dividends in Sterling and those with addresses outside of UK in US Dollar. Today the Company announces that based on the exchange rate at 22 April 2022 of $1.28/GBP, the proposed dividend is equivalent to 3.9p (2020: 0.8p). The last day to elect to receive or revoke a currency election is 24 June 2022.

AEP operates a dividend re-investment plan ("DRIP"). Holders of shares may elect to reinvest their final dividend. The latest election date is 24 June 2022.

Please note, if a holder makes a partial DRIP election for shares, then the dividend for the remaining shares will be paid in Pound Sterling.
