Thanks Brasso … an early indication of what is shortly to come from the FED.

There is going to be a helluva battle between the FED and the Bond market & soon.
The FED probably just needs an excuse of some description before stepping in with the next big QE bazooka

Important day today in Azerbaijan. It’s the anniversary of the Khojaly massacre.
Was expecting a few speeches etc...

Via translate...

Ilham Aliyev: “We will definitely return to Khojaly. It just won't be otherwise. We will also return to the territory where the Russian peacekeepers are now. Armenia needs to come to terms with this.”

Spring/summer is fast approaching.

All as Armenia descends further into turmoil. The president has yet to sign the order from Pashinyan dismissing the head of the army (who yesterday called for Pashinyan to resign).
Pashinyan has given the president 3 days to sign it.

AVCT is off again and has now reached the £2 barrier, I guess there are a lot of people who have not heard the Vox interview and think it's a nice round number to sell at.Good for them for banking a profit as the shares move into new hands

#3Sporrons, and how can governments stamp on runaway inflation if interest rates to control spending/buying are a no go red line area...?, you can not, and the result has been demonstrated through history..

Interesting dilemma...

POG weaker still today, a small near term melt before the explosive upswing..?

They should’ve closed the book early and given applicants a better holding. Then again it was Novum and Tennyson, so what d’ya expect...

Yes I applied on behalf of my wife and sons to get four lots at 5p, still only an aggregate of about 45000 shares. Beats working!

Quite possibly will see higher, maybe a lot higher as most can’t sell. But for me it’s enough and another example of the increasing insanity in this mkt.

I got a reasonable allocation but went through three different sources to get it.

Seems the surge in long bond yields has been alarming enough to provoke the
Aus. CB into buying more of their lbs through further QE.

The first installment of yield curve control globally?
If the big CBs follow suite, got to be good for POG.

Shares are not in my account yet Bumpa so can’t do likewise. Best offer thus far is at 19p. I think we might see higher today but who knows. Primary Bid always seem to struggle to get shares into my iWeb account on the first day.
Rodders there are lots of things that irritate me beyond belief but I don’t post incessantly about them here. We all understand what you think about Bitcoin, enough.

@bumpa
Did you manage to get more than the £500+?
Are they saying that 6000 people applied and that took up all the stock so that it needed to be rationed so severely?
Seems like not enough was put aside for retail... no surprise of course

ODR

I look forward to how bitter and twisted your posts are when BTC is $100k. If you are still posting on ADVFN in 2025 it will be $500k.

Just stating the way I see it bravo... I smell a flurry of Tweets being prepared as we speak ... they must be having a tampers zoom meeting now

Yes, as the “shopper”; for the household I’ve noticed food inflation the last few months. Definitely not 2%, not even close. They’ll try and hide it as long possible by putting all the Chinese supplied stuff they can find in the inflation basket but eventually they won’t be able to hide it.

Good point about property inflation; that really hits a lot of folk hard in the pocket.

As does food prices.
looking at soft commodities, most of the staple foodstuffs have been rising steeply over recent months.

Going by indices with long past origins so not y upon y, like based upon Q1 2020 which would likely distort the picture.
