22/5/2019 18:31 | BAF took a hit last November when Johnson and Johnson pulled out of a deal with GERN...the divi is nailed on as it's an investment trust so they keep back funds to smooth out the divi's ....and BAF are in the dividend hero chart so I'm a little bit confident they will pull it back....even so I have only taken a small punt as I'm not stupid :) | oakey1
22/5/2019 18:24 | BAF I cannot comment upon as I know nothing about the situation, good luck though :-) cheers Wan | wanobi
22/5/2019 18:22 | at that point in time oakey, yes, but it can change in a heartbeat, however those that look at L2 every day can spot a change in the positioning of the market makers and see a change in the strength of the bid/offer, hence spot when the seller has gone and the MM's need to change their bids to attract sellers to get hold of stock... or something along those lines :-) Bumpa will correct me where I'm wrong I'm sure :-) LOL cheers Wan If you look at the ADVFN L2 page you can get an idea of what's being described... I haven't paid up for L2, but must say I'm tempted,,, but from what I've seen I'd say more for traders than LT investors :-) Hope that helps, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
22/5/2019 17:52 | Ah cheers Bumpa so it literally means there is no shares for sale at the current stated price yes? | oakey1
22/5/2019 16:47 | 10.30am at The Washington Mayfair Hotel, 5 Curzon Street, Mayfair, London W1J 5HE most likely NICKK1. | terropol

22/5/2019 16:38 | Oakey, “nothing on the offer” wasn’t meant quite literally, though near enough. At the time I checked STCM, mm’s were bid 50k, 15k and 10k, with just 1k being offered at the 37p indicated. | bumpa33
22/5/2019 16:30 | Where and when is the AGM please | nickk1
22/5/2019 15:56 | The share price looks bang on the trend line to me, 6 weeks to Q2 results and a run up to that would be just fine after a little pull back from the peak this week.. #Mattjos, I don't think the GBP has done tanking yet, it is back where it was at Xmas, and could have a way to go yet pre-dividend payout in July.. Didn't expect to be able to top up here at 93.5p, but thanks.. :o) the bid was 92.25p and the spread just 1.25p at the time.. which is some progress..! | laurence llewelyn binliner
22/5/2019 14:53 | Gold seems to be at a decisive point on the chart. | brasso3
22/5/2019 14:29 | GBPUSD now 1.265. that would be 3.162p dividend to investors but, could keep going up as the £ falls further given the political shambles here right now. Gold will surely now rise from here? | mattjos
22/5/2019 14:15 | a Bid for SCH today and Metro Bank flying.I used to hold SCH sold it to buy AAZ ! Like Wan says you can't win them all. | callmebwana
22/5/2019 14:08 | YASX, are going to come to the AGM THIS YEAR? | terropol
22/5/2019 13:20 | Bumps sorry to bother you but could you explain what “nothing on the offer” means....noob question | oakey1
22/5/2019 13:11 | Bumpa, that the $64mln question. If they (SEB investments) have sold down to the level they are comfortable with, they we could see a re-rate to mid 40-50p a share, which would comfortably be supported by the business earnings & dividend (3p come mid July). Mattjos though supports a significantly higher one | sportbilly1976
22/5/2019 12:53 | Nothing on the offer at STCM at the moment, maybe your seller has finished, maybe they’ll reload higher up. | bumpa33
22/5/2019 11:54 | STCM - MM moved form the offer....try getting a 100k or so now :) | sportbilly1976
22/5/2019 11:37 | apologies Mr R, who am I to tell you what's a good move or not :-) although I do believe it is,,,, I think my L plates could be changed for P plates now though,,, what do you guys think :-) ??? LOL Cheers Wan | wanobi
22/5/2019 11:27 | yep, good move, STCM, full offer being paid now, seller cannot go on forever, just wish we knew how far they want to go on for :-) LOL cheers Wan | wanobi
22/5/2019 11:08 | SP Angel are a bucket shop (in my humble opinion) and you get what you pay for. Whether that is important or not depends on management's plan and the need for institutional holders, short-term share price etc. My sense is that neither are important to the plan and therefore, they have decided to keep costs to a minimum. And I'm OK with that because the dividend pays me to be patient while management get on and execute the plan, which will likely reward long-term holders regardless of broker/forecasts. Others may feel differently. | crazycoops
22/5/2019 10:46 | Added some stcm earlier | mr roper |
