mattjos, presumably the latest AAZ GAP is now filled for you & the 3 day rule which I saw you posted about yesterday (very interesting and makes a lot of sense) should mean we rise today :-) let's see..... :-)

but, I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts on the GAP at 73p as shown on one of my header charts,,, as this is not a break away GAP and is not filled :-)

is it the case that now we have broken out of the channel in which that GAP was formed we can in the short to medium term forget about it??

and only long term might it fill ??

all chart wise ignoring FA :-)

thanx
Cheers
Wan :-)

thanx mattjos, you are a good man....

I hope that's where I am now with AAZ, STCM & TSG in particular.....

ORM I bought very early on, too many shares and without a clue really, so I'll just wait now to see if they announce profitable production soon!

AVCT is a punt on what could be a massive business &

TXP, with a successful drill at Ortoire could also very interesting (it has a high COS so we'll see :-)

but, my main holding right now is AAZ, which I would never have built without the existence of your thread & subsequently this thread, which let's face it was spawned out of my desire to ask too many questions which irritated many of your excellent contributors,,,,, apologies to you & them :-),,, although some where a little strong with their words to me :-) LOL, I understand why & its all water under the bridge now....

At the end of the day we all want to improve our lives, the lives of our family, the people around us and the less fortunate....

So big thanx all,,,, so far :-) & I say so far as I/we all have yet to turn these paper gains into real cash in the bank at some point in the future :-)

STCM is now my second largest position and this exactly fits the bill you've described,,, once that seller goes :-) should be very good indeed :-)

aha, nearly opening time, thanx for posting, catch you later, Cheers Wan :-)

ignore most of the media wanobi .. make your own decisions based on research. Get in early and the (non-researching) crowd will come along later

Posted as a courtesy for all ... costs me to access this data. The report is actually gibberish & contradicts itself in first two paragraphs.Unfortunately, as has been proven before, the figures from Trend are hopelessly and increasingly inaccurate. They mix up completely the actual copper contained in the weight of the wet concentrates.Gold figures are muddled with both Azergold's Chovdar mine and AAZ in production together.

Re: the tv show. Of course, it was the dot com era and things were going nuts in the tiddler space. It was such a foolish concept - you see, a stock was traded by those watching it for no more than a few hours, yet the merits of the long term investment would be discussed by a panel and on that basis a 'tip' would be selected. Invariably the tip doubled in minutes, then came back to the pre-tip price a day later. Eventually all went bust once the dot com boom subsided.

As for shorts, Levi is hopeless - does not have the faintest idea how a stock is valued or the workings of the ,market. No education and no skill of any sort, other than fooling mugs.

Cawkwell I know and used to speak with regularly a few years ago - he has always had a good eye for shorts - though much of what he did in recent years was from the same page as Lucien Miers, who himself has a decent understanding of balance sheet weaknesses.

interesting Rb, I don't think so, but I have found his website ….

I do like this;

However, I am delighted to train relatively inexperienced investors with, say, upwards of £200,000 to invest. Here I assist in portfolio construction and the means to achieve this. In the long run it saves a great deal of money. Please telephone me on 020 7835 0868 or contact me by email.

I might just do that & ask him what he thinks of my investments :-)

cheers
Wan :-)

Cawky is still around Rb, i rate Waseem Shakoor too on that score, he's a smart guy, takes a lot of stick but is nearly always right.

Wan, is his old mate Simon Cawkwell still in with him on the subscription? Only ask because if it’s bear cases you want, Cawky was far better at reading balance sheets for flaws than picking bull cases.
