a placing would be a real slap in face for the PI. funding their incompetence as is the way with such companies

I would be astonished if they have a placing-I was assured that the monthly burn is minimal and any real money is being spent on prep stuff.

I expect

-further strengthening of the team

-licence update

-rig confirmation

All in the next 3/4 weeks

The only thing that concerns me is that the company states they will go for other if the preferred rig is not assigned.If the terms are agreed why do they need the rig to come off site before they commit to license .. Are eni not sure they want to give up well?

If there is a placing, but accompanied with securing a rig then it is probably going to be difficult to buy at the same price.

But of course, if there is a placing accompanied with fluff then I would imagine Pi's will also be able to buy at the placing price at some point - from where there will likely be very good upside.

i think everyone knows that a placing is coming, thats almost a guarantee its not a big deal...

They still maintain that they will need rig for work-over well 102 and maybe for well 101, so my guess is that cash levels at the moment is just above $3m, whilst in sept we had over $4.1m.

Unnecessarily we have lost working capital, they could have got another rig back in sept, 10 working days till the end of jan hopefully update sooon...

I know they said they had sufficient funds to do the drill but I,m beginning to think a placing maybe on the cards. The seller that we have had for ages now dumping the 50 and 25 k blocks may well be doing so in the knowledge that they can buy them back at a placing price of say 10p.
I'm not risking selling myself just in case the RNS drop in in the next day or so and i'm left out missing the rise.
Just a theory that may well be complete BS but it would explain why someone is selling so close to expected positive news.

I'm looking for an intraday drop to 10 before recovery, followed by announcement of placing at 10 along with license extension and rig confirmation

They ned a licence extension and then the price will rise. They can raise money off the back of that rise.
