10/1/2018 22:11 | The preferred rig is currently being used on a 4 billion dollar field where SNPC have an 8.8% stake. SNPC have a 44% stake in our small field. We was always going to be 2nd best. Both the current user and rig operator confirmed it be come available in January. Now ask yourself who owns the preferred rig..... I believe it to be an SNPC subsidiary. Tick tock lads | sunnybeachboy
10/1/2018 19:49 | buffy i say few weeks, should in theory get rig week commencing 22nd Jan. imho | neo26
10/1/2018 19:48 | ayesha Alot of investors got the same email, i too got that just after 6pm yesterday. My only concern with this is that on 14th Sept the rns stated the major wanted to do upgrades to current rig and once this was done the rig will be on site in beginning of Nov, and the earliest we can get it was mid Dec. So this gave us a prediction that the major drill was 45 days, now the company is saying that further upgrades were made while drilling so resulting in taking a break from drilling. I have never come across this before, im trusting the board here and will wait it out till the end of month so see if we get the rig. | neo26
10/1/2018 18:32 | So we won’t get the rig ‘for some weeks’! Buffy | buffythebuffoon
10/1/2018 18:23 | With respect to the licence, the process is very advanced, albeit that as ever in the Congo the exact date for the award is always "in a couple of days", but we are in daily contact with them and will announce to the market as soon as the process is complete. Our preferred rig is nearing the end of its current job for one of the majors, albeit have taken time to stop operations and make amendments and upgrades to the rig during drilling (all good for us, and one of the real benefits of taking a rig that has been shaken down by a major) so it still has some weeks to go. We will contract for the rig as soon as we can - terms are agreed and we just need to know for certain that (as we have been assured) the major does not want to keep the rig. In the event that it does, we will contract with one of our back up options. As above, we will update the market as soon as we can.Kind regards,David SeftonExecutive Chairman | ayesha4

10/1/2018 14:29 | Well thats pretty obvious as it's market sensitive news which has to be released as soon as possible. However that doesn't give us any clue as to if and when this will happen and my point is that the share price is not giving any indication that it's anytime soon!! | pistonbroke1
10/1/2018 12:27 | In the email i got last night..Licence news will be released to the market as soon as they get it. And as soon as rig contract signed then that will be released to market. Not long now chaps! Lots of people waiting on the side lines. | sunnybeachboy
10/1/2018 09:00 | License news + rig news + funding news all at the same time? | thelung
10/1/2018 08:47 | And there you have it another 25K offload and price drops. | pistonbroke1
10/1/2018 08:41 | There were broken parts on the rig thats taking Eni right up until 31st January - as of today. We might not get news of the contract for a couple of weeks. Licence any time. | ayesha4
10/1/2018 08:41 | You will always get folk that think they are in the know buying ahead of expected news,it's so they get the maximum uplift when the RNS arrives. So why is this not happening now, infact we have a seller over the past couple of weeks offloading 50and 25K blocks. Strange thing to do with rig contract and licence extension due any day. | pistonbroke1 |
