The relatively new CEO has turned AYM into a rolling short, he has no concerns for existing shareholders. He will soon be heading through the door of the nearest bucket shop broker to raise a pitiful sum of cash at penal rates.

The 'soft' questions asked by media outlets (of which AYM shareholders have to fund) never dare ask how this outfit are going to finance the 2 projects they have. Never ever.

Just look at the trade data over the last few months, some entity has been pounding the bid with 100k/200k share sells happy in the knowledge that Jo Battershill will close their short by placing stock.

In Jo you can trust, to destroy shareholder value and dilute AYM holders into oblivion, once a spiv always a spiv.

If Grangesburg was a viable sale then Aym would have taken up the additional 50% option a long time ago.
Sadly. this is the same old story being repeddled over and over again.
A bit more drilling to keep us happy, a very small increase in known, indicated and inferred. Labrador approaching feasability, Grangesburg looking into rail links.
Just how far off is this company from actually getting any one of these projects into production. 1 year,5 years,10 years? Take your pick.
A big big disappointment in my eyes, but maybe I am wrong.

I see the company is exhibiting at Mines and Money, well maybe they should put a massive 'For Sale' board on the stand and hope to hell a mid-cap or major company will take this shower out.

The new CEO has worked wonders since his appointment, headed to bucket shop brokers twice to raise pitiful sums of cash at penal rates and has taken the share price down from 4p to 2p - well done Jo.

No doubt there will be a share price rally, there always is on AIM, 3p looks like an oasis in the desert currently, the share price was 9p in Q1 2021.

I'm not here to bash the company or CEO, Anglesey seems a fantastic prospect but until they can jump through the hurdles it is still just a gamble nothing certain and still too far away from anything but talk as permits and such still ongoing.

My main question was financing but as yet we will have to wait and it would be prudent of them to gain that now to secure investors interest.

Good logistics out of Anglesey to smelters in Europe , company currently looking at best way to produce higher quality concentrate..higher margin to market.
Funding would likely be a mix of QME funding from existing agreement , equity base hopefully from monetisation of other interests Grangesberg and LIM? One could then look at off takes agreements and other sources of development capital maybe even a debt issue backed by copper. Not a cheap business to get up and running but relatively small outlay and early to deliver here, the models suggest that Parys would be throwing off serious cash within 18-24 months of starting development. I think Jo and other recent NED appointments are pretty sharp on funding and how one would go about it..first we need a full feasibility study with permits in place then with a fair wind in metals and a search for “green” and secure supply i think Anglesey could be in a very decent position.
Ultimately there is no net zero unless globally there is more copper and other necessary metals greater than currently be sourced..which leaves a huge supply and demand gap. Copper mined sustainably has far more ESG credibility than currently realised ..maybe things might change.

Yes sell everything progress Anglesey.

Who can they offload to, nearest smelters a long way off in Europe and the funding.... They need a lot even to get started let alone be in production!?

How much can they get for Grangesberg and how much do they estimate a cost of mine and processing plus staff and such!?

Would you even get change from £40million even if AYM did do all the digging for free!?

These companies spread too thin, talk big fail small.... I'd love to see one real play instead of the same old same old!?

I know its a question of seeing the transaction that takes us up to about 80% and how its funded and then what the intention is once we get there...hopefully all will become clearer soon!Really think the company cannot progress two projects and i think Parys with some better funding in place is deliverable both permitting and financially in the nearer term. Although Grangesberg is effectively a reopen there is much work and huge expense to get there and deliver the huge benefits to be gained but i think a local big hitting partner needs to take it on or at lest lead imo.

If you look at the WH Ireland note it gives a value of 5.8p. And that's 20% of 20%...we have a absolutely massive asset here...And if we get news soon of AYM acquiring the additional holding..we'll. as they say you do the math

Agree they are the wrong price but off the radar and there will always be the question of funding to development. If they could consolidate Grangesberg interest and sell that project on , maybe leaving a royalty interest i would hope they might be be able to clear debt and fund to a bankable feasibility study and move Parys mountain into development , the deal with QMS makes the balance easier to manage and the forward cash flow projections could suddenly draw in some proper money on a more sensible valuation. I firmer backdrop in metals and consideration of future demand to meet all these zero emission targets will be a factor. The green argument is interesting as it will be impossible to meet electrification targets without significant new copper in production..could the dirty business of mining suddenly be seen in a different light?Who knows many seem to think there are no logistical and material costs to transitioning overnight! Hanging on in here but diversifying into other plays too..eggs in baskets and all that..most in sector are bombed still , have picked up some PXC down here.

Resource upgrades probably won't make that much difference to the share price...Talk of share prices exceeding 10p look like hot air to me... unless we get some transformational rns

Some interesting reading ..as a client shame Anglesey as as far as i am aware the only UK based copper play isn't mentioned..especially as they are a long term client !https://www.proactiveinvestors.com.au/companies/news/997917/copper-set-for-a-bull-run-but-who-will-benefit-997917.html

Also on the Northern Zone drilling there was a RNS back in June 2001 that gave a estimate of 31mt!!!

They said this back in June but there has been no news

“On the Northern Copper Zone, the team is currently planning the next round of infill drilling, which we hope to start in the September quarter. This will be the first infill programme into this deposit for almost 20 years and will provide important data for metallurgical testwork and the optimal mine design.”

Just this morning I was thinking updating the MRE is taking far too long - maybe they don't have the original model to plug the numbers in - maybe there is no-one available who is qualified to approve the numbers that come out of the model. Maybe they should tell us what the hold up is before this descends to be a 1p stock? Must be a year now since they said they were going to drill a few more holes to move ore from inferred to indicated.

Does anyone know how long it takes to prepare a mineral resource update?

They said this in the Parys assay RNS

“Additionally, the intention of the recent drilling programme was to increase
the resources in the Indicated category for the White Rock deposit, which stood
at 4.7Mt, or 79% prior to commencing the drilling. Given the results have now
all been received, we will look to update the Mineral Resource Estimate‘

Current market cap is crazy, the stake in LIM is worth £2m without parry’s or grangersberg.

A lot of small resource stocks are starting to turn upwards, perhaps due to the iron ore price bottoming and turning up, perhaps out turn next.

These the reasons why it's never got past the conceptual stage in the past.

I can't dispute there certainly is a great copper mine waiting to happen but I just can't see how.

Like you I was waiting for some more concrete investment and development but guess I'll have to watch this space for the foreseeable.

Yes - this is the fundamental reason the share price is where it is - only a couple of things I think can move it - 1) clear roadmap with indicative timelines as a reference spelt out 2) a means of funding outlined - this is the biggy 3) grangesburg - clear actions that demonstrate how this is going to add value to shareholders - far more required than just bland statements re continued progress - at least one of these things needs to be stated clearly and put into action - only then will the share price respond

But can the project get of the ground, talk is one thing, permits another but it requires millions just to even start let alone hit targets.

At the moment it seems a good prospect but still too many hurdles to jump!?
