Wassapper.
I didn`t even get a voting form nor any resolution notes.
How many others of us did not receive any notifications?

I don`t think so calmtrader.
Drilling may start the end of this month, but results may take a couple of months at least to be calculated after drilling ends.
In the meantime, this board of directors will sit twiddling their thumbs instead of being proactive.
They should resign en-masse and let some new blood drive us forward.
My other mining holdings are moving forward quite nicely.
Aym is once again stuck under 4p.
Why are we shareholders allowing the BoD to remain in place. I cannot understand it!!!

A veritable web once you start digging I've rather given up but lots of links between Buchans Minco and QME who have done much of the historic work on Anglesey ..Then there's Hooley ex Md Micon who have done much of the rest of the historic work.Go back to 1997 ..there's Juno too!https://www.irishtimes.com/business/imo-in-2-1m-reverse-takeover-1.82062Given up on the directors history and conflicts just gets more concerning ..but a reason why I think further clearing the board of these interconnections to give an independent representation to shareholders the better.

Is that the same John Kearney, chairman and CEO of Buchans Resources Ltd, former managing director of Micon? I see Buchans have as director Peter McParland, founder and managing director of QME, and Danesh as CFO too. Might be worth having a look at Buchans, they have a collaboration going on with Boliden Mineral AG. Its very cosy this mining business isn't it? Same people in loads of companies.

Yep think he has quite a few other directorships on his plate like other directors of Anglesey with some of these companies overlapping Anglesey's interests or overlapping other directors leading to potential conflicts of interest. Kearney being CEO of LIM where he is also a shareholder ( unlike Anglesey) must obviously have an interest in that company that is not necessarily aligned to Anglesey shareholders. Having been on the board for 27 years and Chairman for most of those years and the fact that he fails just about every test of giving independent council it is definitely time he left , hopefully the company can find new qualified NEDs that might further promote confidence that the company is addressing the many corporate governance shortfalls that have developed over the years. As things stand we have a new CEO but the board is still controlled by the same group of guys who have been in place for well over a decade..more signs of real change needed now.

There have been some very interesting articles recently regarding copper which are worth bearing in mind. I agree to a layman that it makes sense to consider the metal as crucial to current plans and so therefore should rise in value. What happens when the demand changes ? But that is not our question for AYM. Get out of the way Kearney.

I think copper will be just fine , the fundamentals of supply and demand are hugely bullish so in terms of the viewpoint of establishing production in U.K. in a few years time to run for 12 plus years.. position never better. The shorter term moves around speculative positions are technically interesting but don't impact the bull story for decades imho.We should have confirmation of commencement of the drill programme pretty soon hopefully.

Lol. Exactly kooba. And btw copper is in a determined down trend now. The stories by the press of super surge are rather false. You just need to review the words they use.

I agree John. It appears to be proven by the news coming out of AYM. Jo promised to get moving and he did so within 3 weeks of the placing. John Kearney meanwhile promised 2 new appointments within a few weeks ...8 weeks ago and silence since. Time the old boys pottered off. They don't even have any money in this now so are not even as interested in AYM as people in this board.

Buden announces $500b green policy and mining shares are rising.
Aym is stuck in a rut. Why?
I believe it is down to an abysmal board of directors.
Surely it is time that they resigned en masse and allowed the new CEO to pick a proactive new board.
This lot need to go NOW!!!

I cant and i wont. I just find it amusing people here keep spouting on about copper prices even though they know its done shtt all to the share price here.

My profits are diminishing. 10p looks impossible right at this moment in time.

Im afraid the hands the placing went to are maybe not looking that firm ? Ignoring the share price for now though , however it is disappointing they are following the usual pattern ,news placing , dump that has been synonymous with this counter. However with work plan, new broom and metals prices enjoying what is highly likely an extremely extended cycle think those spinning here for peanuts might regret it within a few months. If they go nearer the placing will add further.

What makes you think that? IF they had created synthetics such as a SB on the underlying stock then the physical would rest with them anyway and no announcement of underlying economic interest required as far as i am aware..if it was a CFD then over 3% might need reporting. Not sure such instruments are generally used for long term investment in small companies from my experience ..but maybe you are right.Previous ETX placing did not show any physical stock left with them i don't believe.
