So much advice on what i should do with my holding from folks who seem to have so little grasp of the company's financial position and certainly not qualified to give such advice...i was qualified to give advice in securities in UK and USA and a director of a corporate finance house and nomad in U.K. but wouldn't proffer advice on bulletin boards. I will rely on my own research thanks, by the way i have had a number of communications with the board over Governance and communications shortfalls ..maybe some helped push some changes, but the responses have also influenced my opinion of long term directors. Please do block me if you find my approach uncomfortable ..but don't tell me i can't have an opinion or should sell.

I don’t claim to be a mind reader though but pleased you know what I’m thinking. I am genuinely concerned at dilution and until there is more clarity on funding will remain so. Board structure also not being addressed as yet. Chair in position since 1994, the company has produced no revenue in that 32 years..and he holds no shares, zero ,nada..its totally unheard of! Shame he doesn’t share your confidence and find a few quid to invest in the company! But after more than 3 decades maybe is not yet convinced there is value..its truly a bizarre situation.

I'm with trader. If you ain't happy, sell and move on. But you won't .. because deep down you know the potential that could be unlocked here. Let's give Jo a chance. Let him do his first bit of business for the company- then judge him.

Why say anything if so up in the air as you suggest? But they serially promise and don't deliver..same old Anglesey. I'm hoping to win the lottery tonight but haven't announced it to the family. Managing expectation key skill by a board, they were obviously confident of a near term appointment or two and it hasn't happened. But they got expectation out there and i for one was extremely pleased they appeared close to bringing on some new independent directors. I hope they still do pronto but i am now disappointed that this has not followed on as they indicated. End of.

I note they have started paying salaries and director fees again since April 21 because of the improved financial position..appears they ignore the ever growing debt balance in this improved picture. Interesting reading on governance..they don’t comply with large sections of the code…but thats ok because they say it is..he he he. Jo’s on £10000 a month which appears commensurate with the roll ..so with the increase in central overheads and the requirement for short term £1.6m of additional works on Parys alone the company’s funding requirements are growing fast and its improved position will be tested soon enough i guess. Worth going through the report and accounts..lots of detail like the chair has in fact been in position since 1994 and was the ceo until 2001. Still there and not a shareholder, though takes options in company and is renumeration by LIM where he does hold an equity interest.

They said ‘hoping to finalise discussions’, not appointments ffs! Appointments may or not be made after the discussions are finalised. Discussions may well be ongoing, they were only ‘hoping’ to finalise them in the next few weeks.

Trader you add zero to any debate…all you do is attack posters who ask questions and have very justifiable concerns. Why announce the intension to finalise appointments of two new directors within a few weeks…and the appropriate time to announce such an appointment is when it is finalised. They made the announcement and set the timescale and have not met it…i didn’t set it. Not sure its me that can’t read a simple announcement…do try harder. The old, If your not happy…blah blah blah nonsense .. Well they say ignorance is bliss…glad you’re happy.

They were ‘hoping to finalise the discussions’ in the next few weeks, ie not make an appointment or announcement in the next few weeks!! NB: ‘and will make an announcement at the appropriate time’ It’s obviously not yet appropriate to make an announcement this could be for many reasons, so stop crying for your bottle ffs! If you’re not happy with what they are doing sell up and move on. And I suggest you research your next investment BEFORE you buy rather than after, it make far more sense.

Thanks Kooba for you response and I agree. The board appears to be dividing between the rose tinted side and those more critical of the board and it's non performance. Trader, rather than being so pedantic I would suggest you understand the context that announcement was made in by AYM board which would infer that an announcement was due "in the next few weeks". They have failed to announce anything. But you know this already and just want to pick a nit picking fight on a bulletin board rather than focus on the non performance of AYM board.

Kooba - perhaps you should learn to read? ‘The board said almost 2 months ago there would be new board appointments with in a few weeks’ Really? Can you point me to where they said this??

I've also never seen a company I follow..or U.K. listed for that matter than seems to make double rns statements..exactly the same text but different font..don't know what thats about but understood rns' cost , so are they doubling the cost of releases on how they are doing this?

What have i said that is not giving Jo a chance exactly ..i have not criticised Jo in any way i don't think ..as you say nothing to critique as he hasn't done anything yet..your words. i continue to question the rest of the board and the fact they still have full board control and are not independent and are serially conflicted in their interests. All of them have sat together for well over a decade promised much and delivered nothing . I have been optimistic that Jo is the change thats necessary ..but the move of the old ceo to deputy chair is sending the wrong message that any real change is afoot I'm afraid..The board said almost 2 months ago there would be new board appointments with in a few weeks ..thats gone quiet.Might get off my high horse when i see some more independence sitting with Jo and a feeling that control is wrested away from the cabal of uselessness.

Don't put yourself down smack, theres no shame in wearing rose tinteds but doesn't tend to pay on this counter..Jo yet to show if he is the shareholders friend i figure. Hoping a clearer picture and a refined board by the year end..in the meantime i think will will see how well Jo can raise the required finance without diluting shareholders too much.

I'm not saying that's what's going to happen, but it happens. It's an option. IRR have given away 50% of their lithium asset through earn in stages, one of them a funded DFS. Let's see what happens. There's many ways to skin a cat and Jo seems experienced in this area. More so than bulletin board hero's! lol

This also applies to any idea of jv as far as i can tell...it sounds from a financing prospective half baked.
