Yes rather a mish mash of previously reported news, cut and pasted and in the form of report and accounts..unusual approach. As calmtrader points out seems they are moving on Grangesberg. Jo B owns a few shares not previously disclosed. At AGM seeking authority to issue a bunch of shares without pre-emption “The authority sought in resolution 10 of the meeting is to enable the Directors to allot new shares and grant rights to subscribe for, or convert other securities into, shares up to a nominal value of £750,000 (75,000,000 ordinary shares) which is approximately one third of the total issued ordinary share capital at 24 August 2021.” But rather disappointingly no statement from new Ceo…he wasn’t running the business during this period but has still signed off the accounts. Was hoping for more forward looking guidance on timescales. If AGM share issuing authority given ..expect fundraise in Oct i guess..it will then be accompanied with more upbeat details of opportunity from new Ceo i guess.

Well the final results will come before the AGM and there should be a full update on plans so see what that brings before the AGM ..I am hoping there will be a much clearer picture to development by the AGM ..but will undoubtedly be some further questions to field after the results. Very tempted to double up but am somewhat nervous of the market generally and expecting a correction so maintaining cash and have established position in S&p leverage short etf as hedge on market risk.

Need to see what is announced in the AGM. We all have questions for the new CEO, hopefully at the AGM we can clear up some of the inevitable issues to get this site back from a mountain to a working mine again.

Focus on the underlying assets and new management try to ignore the short term share price for now.

Crikey i remain more upbeat than at any time I've held..everyone seems to be giving up just before we know there will be significant guidance and news on moving forward with the results ..seems investor patience does not last very long the poor guy has only been in position for about a month. We should have news of other appointments coming shortly as well.Share price not putting me off..though keeping powder dry for now.

SP still continuing it`s slow decline. Similar to the slow death of the Titanic. A lot of souls lost there too. I think it is time to reduce my holding and cut some losses.

Eerrm..repeat.'It is also usual for companies to refrain from making other price sensitive announcements (e.g. trading statements) during the close period. This is not required, but it is usually regarded as good practice.'Just wait for the results..out soon enough...Judge then.Raising funding for a clear plan to bringing a full feasibility study forward would be a good thing i reckon. The guy is also not in a position to own any shares in the company he is running right now..be good if he bucked the trend.

Exactly Kooba, they have nothing to say as usual. Here we go again. I have a real fear that the first RNS from this new CEO will be a begging bowl only. I wasnt expecting he would come immediately with a new fangled plan but at least a statement of framework would have been a jolt in the arm. We shall see...I'm going to give it till year end then review my position here as I'm getting tired again. Must be something in the water at Parys that induces lethargy!

A close period is a period, usually of two months, prior to the release of results during which directors and other insiders are not allowed to trade in a company's shares. It is also usual for companies to refrain from making other price sensitive announcements (e.g. trading statements) during the close period. This is not required, but it is usually regarded as good practice. Many companies issue a trading statement immediately before the start of the close period so that investors have information that is as up to date as possible during the close period. It is always possible for a company to be overtaken by events and put in a position that makes it necessary to make an announcement during the close period.

Being in closed period is only for insider dealing. They can release any news or statement they want. They obviously have nothing to report. And the new CEO has nothing to say.

Well I think they have been deciding that they needed reinforcements and didn't have the wherewithal to progress it so yes time spent on corporate governance and finding new broom and hopefully some further independent board appointments coming ..which hopefully should relax folks like me who were nervous at the lack of outside scrutiny . Doesn't appear to me much money has been spent ..and little progress made on taking Parys itself forward or funding. The need to do more work to maximise indicated no great surprise and will undoubtedly help with funding. Begs the question what old guard thought they were doing all those years when they went off to get funding no more work needed !Hoping clear better comms are a new thing but as previously posted ..in the close period unlikely to do any full update ..so we wait for the results. Got to think much work is going on behind the scenes..will be out within the month.AGM 30th Sept I think ..talk to nominee, might not be possible to attend if spread bet or even Cfd ..worth asking though.

Thanks Kooba, I do want to know what they have been doing though. Apart from finding a new CEO I have not seen any evidence of progression using that 1m.

So strikes me they need at least another £1m soonish to be able to commit to the recommended works to a full feasibility study. There is also further planning work to be done with i suspect some submissions on the environment so maybe they go for more.Hopefully there will be some preemption for their long suffering shareholders but there is no guarantees on how shareholders are treated.

From ceo rns below1So they had over £1m from fundraises including the 10m raising 3660k and director options exercise, it has depleted slightly. To complete the works outlined they will need more money so expect a raise. Also the new ceo and I'm sure friends and family will want on board so that will sort them a fund raise will also be a base point for allocating options to the new ceo. I'm fine with all that ..hopefully any issue is not discounted too much though and a work programme is given a timeline. The costs were outlined in the rns i believe...see below 2"At the end of March 2021, the group had cash resources of £892,000. Following a careful review of the financial resources currently available and considering the normal on-going costs of corporate and site operations, it has been decided that these three activities will be commenced forthwith, and as additional funding become available this programme will be accelerated. ""Micon included additional exploration costs of $1.6 million for Cases A and B and $7.5 million for Case C. However, much of this additional drilling recommended for Case C, to upgrade the category of the resource in the second half of the project mine life from Inferred to Indicated, should ideally be carried out from an underground drill drive from the area around the bottom of the shaft and would not necessarily be undertaken until some years into the project.'

Is and can anyone attend the AGM.? And have I missed it but what has been done with the 660k raised from the last placing.? There are some uncomfortable questions to be asked before they come back with yet another request for funding. This silence concerns me again that the new CEO appointment is just another excuse to raise more money.

'New Director Nominations We are currently discussing with two other senior minerals industry professionals regarding taking on the role of non-executive director. We would hope to finalise these discussions in the next few weeks and will make an announcement at the appropriate time. '4 weeks ago...so should be hearing on this rather soon as few weeks is already getting stretched. 'Delay in Publication of Annual Report and Accounts The 2021 Annual General Meeting of shareholders of Anglesey Mining plc is currently scheduled to be held on 30 September 2021. 'Pointed to last years delayed results released on 25th Sept as guidance....could obviously be sooner, rather difficult to know what might be tricky with a non operating companys financials.

With the results due the company is in a closed period?KEY TAKEAWAYSThe close period, in accounting, is the time span covering the completion of a company's finances and the subsequent release of those financials to the public.During the close period, insiders are prohibited from trading company shares or making any relevant information public before it is officially announced. This period typically lasts for one month prior to quarterly or interim reports and two months prior to annual reports. So guessing nothing much might happen before the release of the delayed final results due before the end of Sept...but quite a lot might happen then?
