I must agree with you Iglenn, especially on the new appointments. Next week willbe 5 weeks, a few weeks in my opinion so if no news then I will have to believe that the new ceo is not worth his salt. He should at least have introduced himself better and by now advise us as to the options available to him that he is working on. 1 more week???

Thanks Noccer interesting analysis, also very true this is not just a copper play. Zinc close to to 12 month highs and lead has been plowing on now pushing multi year highs important for the early work financial projections i guess.Good to see copper recovering after the China shake out..fundamentals all look positive. Strategy ,funding and execution the missing pieces hopefully some clarity shortly.

There will certainly be a new raise Kooba. We need funds to complete the Micon drilling assessment. Will benefit the company in the long run as could expose further deposits and maybe a deep sulphide bed, who knows. I just don`t want to see the same old drivel that was put out by previous ceo and his mates. Remember, it is many months since ANYTHING of substance has been announced. How much longer do we have to wait for some form of dialogue from the board?

I think the 65% recovery rate is fairly conservative - and in reality different metals will have different recovery rates, both in ore separation and in refining. Lead could be quite high. So I don't think it would be unreasonable to hope for over $1 billion of recoverable metal from the white rock resource.

Interesting to compare the £9m market cap with potential in the ground. Thought I would share my spreadsheet calculations of value of metals in the ground based on the JORC stuff from way back, see if others concur. For white rock indicated (4.712 million tons) metal value US dollars per metric ton of ore : Zinc $/t 115.35 Lead $/t 50.82 Copper $/t 31.62 Gold $/t 29.04 Silver $/t 24.98 so with 65% recovery rate after ore separation and refining, I make that $163.68 $/t. Inferred is similar with another 1.258Mt at $170.52 $/t. So 4.712*$163.68+1.258*$170.52 = 985 million USD of recovered metal - and thats just White Rock. Engine zone much juicier, although smaller, zinc still first but copper a close second, and silver third. $288/t. Its easy to think of this as a copper or gold deposit - but zinc and lead play a major part, especially with White Rock likely being first to be mined. Of course that assumes I haven't messed up the calcs.

My view would be that there will be a raise backed by new ceo and mates accompanying any update..there will be share options awarded too , hopefully both not too big a discount. Hardly going to say this is the best thing since sliced bread before he has equity exposure at what hopefully are low levels..once this is done expect things to start moving.

The question that we should be asking is when will the news be released? Perhaps someone close to the company board can ascertain when this will happen, or did I miss this answer earlier.

Lets hope the first news is not just another placing. He needs to issue a very clear plan to production as intimated in the RNS. Fingers crossed chaps.

Agreed calmtrader, but this is due to a lack of news coming from the board. need the new ceo to deliver very soon or we will continue to slip back

I previously mentioned that Lim were in danger of missing the boat. China is definately keeping a hold on commodity prices. Wonder what will happen to the world class lithium mine in Afghanistan. China courting the Taliban so would presume it could fall into their hands. 2n`d largest copper mine in Chile is posting lower than expected tonnage this year. They are worried about a long drought that is affecting their region. This news of a 200k ton shortfall in the coming months will keep copper prices steady Aym share price will not rise substantially until some good news is released. It has already slipped back. I think we can forget about LIm as a riser and just concentrate on Aym news for now.

Having commented on the strength of iron ore earlier in the year might be remiss not to acknowledge the current goings on..windows closing on LIM i guess?https://www.afr.com/markets/commodities/iron-ore-extends-rout-on-weakening-china-demand-outlook-20210820-p58kctChina seems to be manufacturing this sharp pullback through word and deed , it has stated its intention to undermine the strength in metals.Copper got dragged into commodities risk off yesterday but have perked back up ...the fundamentals on copper likely not as easy to manipulate.
