Trader https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/938229/anglesey-mining-aim-to-transform-mining-industry-on-north-wales-island-938229.html There you go, 2 years before producing.. 18 months left, after no activity for the past six makes two years...

I would be concerned if it was, it shows he/she has poor personal financial risk management and suggests he/she maybe taking too high a risk with his/her cash. But it shows them diversifying and that is a reason to be selling , if they had a lot of wealth outside the company then it would likely be a discretionary sale because they thought the stock was fully valued.Chilling with a glass of Gavi di Gavi ..no spliffs these days , kids about.Look I really do hope you are right and the old boys can progress the assets because if they can get the funding and get it right there is huge potential upside..I , as you can tell are less convinced in their ability to do so ..so as a shareholder i jolly well hope they prove me wrong. In the meantime surprising this little oddity has not seen some activist or mid cap sector interest. It's all rather puzzling ..either very cheap or we're mugs for thinking we have found something so overlooked.

"Depends if all that net worth was tied up in the company ..if it wasn’t would be concerned" I would be concerned if it was, it shows he/she has poor personal financial risk management and suggests he/she maybe taking too high a risk with his/her cash. AYM directors have demonstrated conservative risk management during the lower metal price environment, they are waiting to act when the time is right Chill, have another joint with a G&T and wait for news

Depends if all that net worth was tied up in the company ..if it wasn't would be concerned. If it was then not so much . If a director of a company that looks like it has high potential but a number of dots to line up and they sell every single share..alarm bells should ring to be honest. If they hold no shares having been on the board for 27 years and are chairman it really is a unique situation..not a good one.

In my experience yes most of the time following director sells is rewarding, directors are most informed with far more information on the company and the field it's in , they also have discretion to buy or sell ..tax selling , personal wealth planning normally nonsense..why would you sell if you thought the stock was going up ..but don't take my word for it dyor.

If a given director has a net worth of £50m would you base an investment decision on a £1m share buy or sell given that is 2% of the said director net worth?? I regularly sell shares and take a 1% hit to my account.

LIM there is expected timetable that they anticipate financing of $u61m by end of year and were already talking some months before director sales ( interesting )also that mine recommissioning will start end of this year or spring 22 and take 18months to production.https://youtu.be/1LDJetz9yR8

Kooba my mucker, does that mean that if I buy companies where directors buy shares I will out perform the market? If so why don't we have investments funds that are aligned this alleged phenomenon??

Following director dealing is a well known investment indicator as it goes..seeing the folks who run a business having some skin in the game so they are aligned to holders is important. If you follow director share buying and selling you do pretty well as it goes..thanks for asking.

"Phoenix is able to raise the cash now to get things going" Ditto AYM, but PCX is 500% more expensive No more needs to be said, just sit tight and wait for mama to bring the bottle

'I suggest that it is wrong to say that there are no new producers' Who said this? 'My assessment is that PXC get 10 out of 10' On what are you basing this assessment? Did I miss the quiz??

I am invested in both Anglesey mining and Phoenix copper ltd. I think you all should read their threads on ADVFN then go to their web site and decide for yourselves who and what is a dynamic proactive management. PXC will go into production next year with a sound business plan so I suggest that it is wrong to say that there are no new producers. My assessment is that PXC get 10 out of 10. Anglesey management ???

kooba - I'm confused my mucker, why would you base an investment or trade based on what someone else is doing? benjamin - can you post a link to the RNS that states the mine "is supposed to be up and running in 18 months" There is still a lot to do, I would think a minimum of 3 years To recruit and train 150/200 staff would take around a year

Trader No due date, but for a mine that is supposed to be up and running in 18 months plus the six months we have lost already this year, you would expect an update....Same thing was said in 2017..

3m times 4.18p is £125k unless you know that the retired director (non disclosable) sold too then 3.5m at 4.18p £146k...its not the amount so much though it is the equivalent of a third of the last fundraise..its that they sold at a big discount to the last fundraise and it was everything most of them owned..many now not holding 1 bloody share..show me any listed company like this...Just one where all the board have been in position for 15 years plus and many dont hold any shares..it ain't normal. As for Juno again very confusing position if the information on the company posted recently is correct..the report and accounts clearly says DV is a director the documents don't..still indicates a family interest but needs clarifying.

Who actually owns and runs Juno..another mystery. But bet they wish they were as good as you trader..would have sold at the top and bought at the bottom ..made it look easy..good on you.As for personal tax bills..thought these guys didn't take salaries they might have had modest income tax on benefit in kind with the options but do they have other sources of income and taxable gains leading all to have a tax issue..all of them at the same time needing every share to be sold. Interesting.
