AN needs to step back and employ someone with business acumen to get this moving otherwise Cash will run out long before he strikes any significant deals.

I think there may be surprise to the upside.
Andy must surely come out fighting.
I was just reviewing a video of theirs, I think he said this is very long term investment, but that he wont be there forever!! I think he mentioned hes 70 yrs old.

There's a long list of companies and products I will never use again because of things like that . Best way to hurt them is never use them again .

Must be some TR-1s still to come . The fact we haven't got any says they are still buying/selling . Until complete they don't have to announce I believe .

110m plus Shares traded was not all pi's and traders that's for sure . Interesting to see where they ended up and if someone now has a big stake which might indicate a hostile bid coming

dave - this is what I posted on another board this morning:

Totally agree, the ii site was fine as it was, now it looks a complete mess.
I complained when they changed the portfolio view a while back and customer services basically said tough, it's changing for good. It appears lots of others complained too, so they eventually kept the option to see the 'classic view' and had the cheek to announce it on their website too 'You told us you wanted to see the classic view, we listened...' blah blah blah.
But what they've done now is far more radical. I logged on to do a trade on my mobile and couldn't find the 'Place order/trade' option anywhere, no button, not in dropdowns, very frustrating. It stated 'download the app for best experience', but when I clicked on that I got the message 'not available where you are'.
In the end I logged on via PC and found a way of placing an order, but in a much less convenient way than before.
A shambles, basically. What where they thinking? Perhaps they don't want our business.

Yeah hopefully they will change it back but just don't understand why they change something that works . Seems to happen with everything these days and their reputation gets shot even if they change it back . I blame management lol nothing new there haha

What I don't get with aegon selling is why they couldn't arrange a cross trade with GFI . Usually happens that the seller is matched with a buyer off market . Can't blame GFI they got a bargain really

hmmm. wonder why?

because they bought in dirt cheap on the back of what was ostensibly a 'distressed seller'...who wouldn't....unfortunately I'm still sitting on a lot higher average ....as things stand I doubt if I'll get my money back but no point in bailing now...

Well hopefully when thousands of traders threaten to leave them which will happen if they do not revert they will go back to the original platform.

This is like losing your job or going into work and they say you are only on 15 hours a week now instead of 40 and the money drops.

Hargreaves is ok but too slow to test limits and you cannot trade bang on 8am which is a killer over a course of a year.

GFI will be looking for a buyout, just like their investment in Amryt which doubled in price once an offer was made.

Harl is still loss making I'd not touch it with a bargepole !

You moan about pumpers twitterman but you spam this site with your daily ramps.

AGL

I'm just a lurker now here unless iii go back to their original platform it's just terrible the new one and takes minutes to test limits compared with seconds before

That is true but they were buying at a very low price so limited risk . There's value here but my faith in AN to deliver has gone especially after that abysmal RNs which didn't need to be that bad . The revenue miss was from 5m to 3.9m so only 1.1m . Why didn't they include the figures to understand better and that's without any more deals getting signed . Plus revenue is up 390% on last years 1m . All seems like AN is intent on doing this the hardest way possible .

His comments about shareholders didn't help either . Still expecting a buy out here otherwise why destroy the shareprice like he has.

Ii investors Aegon sold out in 3 days completely and another seems to have been selling for months . Good time to release an awfully worded and thought out RNs . The nomad forced them to issue it but there was no need for it to be that bad

Going to take a lot of good news to get it to move now and back to levels more reasonable and seems that going to take a long time yet again .

Grant Dollens is a biomedical engineer with special interest in healthcare investing. He is unlikely to invest in a "pig". He also has enough money to buy Angle outright at the present price.
