The purpose of their P1a trial was not to show efficacy, but safety at increasing dosages of an existing 50-year old FDA-approved cancer drug.

Avacta's rns is very promising, but I would far rather be in Angle. Avacta's market cap of £431m is extremely high for something just in the middle of Phase 1, the company has a poor track record in terms of relying on company statements and external validation (lft debacle), and there has been no evidence in the rns of tumour shrinkage. Yes Avacta may take off even further, yes it might be the real deal, but it is still very, very risky. Angle I see as far less risky (fda approval, world class ovarian results etc etc) but with equally good upside and a wonderful entry point with the current share price. Horses for courses.

Looks like this was the one to be in and where the M&A idea has come from . They seem to be moving a lot faster than agl and getting the spot light too .
Might mean things speed up a bit here at least

As stated previously, IMO take your money while you still have some or stay and listen to unsubstantiated rubbish from a few rampers Incl most recent laughable comments from LETSBUY1. He has stated numerous times that this is 50p this week. Silly sausage.

A 100K and a few 50K blocks bought this morning. Wonder if GFI will go over 4%.Not long now until we find out if CLSC's IPO has been a success, in fact less than two weeks away. Fingers cross it is as some of those funds could land here at AGL.Read the bottom few questions in this interview with Andrew Craig from April 2022. Look who's mentioned:hTTps://davidstevenson.substack.com/p/investment-ideas-biotech-opportunity-----What are some of the names you are most keen about ?On a long-enough time line (our time line - i.e. to have a chance for the market to go from "voting machine to weighing machine") some of my names would include Angle Research plc, Avacta plc, Creo Medical plc, Open Orphan plc, Oxford Biomedica plc and RedX plc. But there are a fair few others.

What did Newland think was going to happen to the share price after he ramped the hell out of it post FDA approval, giving the strong impression that customers were queuing around the block. meantime his utterly useless Board of Directors just sat there doing SFA to rein him in. So where is the newsflow from Guildford? There isnt any, and until there is, and don't hold yer breath, the share price will contiue to relflect profund disenchantment with the CEO and his board. The worry has to be that as the weeks roll on w/o a significant announcement and I dont mean distribution agreements in Slovenia, Newland will become increasinbgly desperate and sign a terrible deal so that he can boost of some revenue coming through the door and make the optics appear that things are going smoothly. Tghis is exactly the scenarion I was involved with several decades ago in the drug delivery space, with a NASDAQ outfit that consistently signed lousy deals to propup the share price.....
