What really is the value loss due to the low single figure revenue delay and the sidelining of ziplex. 40-50p holding pattern until news would seem reasonable?

PURCHASEATTHETOP and AMARETTO average on AGL is 70p, followed by his other huge loss making recommendations ITX, ENET and BUSHVELD to name a few. Still think best to sell while there is something to salvage here.

If they continue to add amaretto then yes maybe they are buying to make a hostile bid . At this stage can't say that for certain imo . I think one is coming either way though.
For it to stand a chance they will have to acquire as close to 30% as possible in the open market then they only need another 20% to succeed which they would get by going to the ii's asking how much they want for their shares and taking the lowest ones to get that 20%. If they don't have a big stake then it will almost certainly fail as not many will accept a 60p bid .

If they get 30% for say an average 40p to 50p accounting for a rise in the shareprice while buyung up shares then it's a cheap takeover even if they have to pay 80 to 100 for the other 70%

The problem is AN and tbh some on these boards seem oblivious to the fact agl is now very weak to defend from a bid and might never see the years ahead . Too busy talking about a future that may very well never happen because they are to busy stargazing

Ok either way an Ii had bought some of the share aegon sold think that was expected . What I will be looking out for is who else and who is still buying . Then there's the possibility of a bid coming . Otherwise it's non news tbh just another Ii getting in cheap

I'm pretty certain this notification is a separate account fund And started from a Zero position. Odviously same company But useing 2 different accounts.

Global Frontiers is shown on the key s/holders holdings list with 2.64%, so has increased by 1%.

They don't invest in pharmaceutical usually...They are a opportunistic fund ..... The latter investment the Irish pharmaceutical company as just received a 1.2 billion offer !!!I'm telling you all now ... AGL are in play for a take over ...Watch how this all unfolds ....

I wonder if I should help...! Global Frontiers Investments is based in Charleston,SC. It is a hedge fund ; has about 4 clients and AUM of c$365m as of its last filing.

90pc of the fund is in Financials: JP Morgan largest holding c18%, Amex with 12%, Mastercard c10pc. Interestingly it is obv playing in the small-cap pharma/bio/med space too but only represents only about 2% overall but that fig has been creeping up.

It has taken a stake in Amryt Pharma plc and has been building its position,(c US$3.5m or 1.77% of the portfolio),so the AGL purchase fits with a strategy that appears to favour gently increasing exposure to small cap global bio/pharma plays

Not indian patt. Interesting none the less and be I gerstaing to keep an eye if they continue to add . If they do then qite ossible they are accumulating for someone to make an approach .
Might just be another ii to the list seeing an oppurtunity aswell . Unfortuntealy we will only know at the end
