AN is not a scientist (read engineeering like his Dad, then worked in venture capital) and now the jury is definitely out on his business skills. Breathtaking descent of sp, and there is tonne of nonsense here about distressed sellers.....the plain fact is that AN needs to match his hyperbolic rhetoric with proper delivery. I should think that the insitutions who backed him at 80p are mightily concerned that he may have sold them a pup

It's really simple. There is a large seller. These will bounce hard and recover quickly once they're out. I'm scaling back in.

Ha ha..the genius that is Andrew Newland & his Board. We may have to wait a while, given the board of Directors have no economic interest in their own company. Not a single share purchase from the Non-execs: no support at placing time, no support since. Market is taking fright at commercial prospects - this wont calm nerves, as methinks mkt is taking view that this announcement is about battening down the hatches because any deal of any substance in years away..., and 'No' Andrew, distribution agreements in Lichtenstein or Burkino Faso dont count, nor does another bloody study from a university in Greece.

Bones. They clearly explained the change in R+D tax credit rules which precipitated the decision and made the operation now unviable.

henley2,

you can't control everything, but speak to the board with your advice. Just buy some more and watch the bounce once the seller(s) done. Nothing has changed, negotiations ongoing, now a longer runway to achieve commercial success. Its not about ramping, its just sentiment is poor at the moment.

Oh dear somenposters looking like fools again after that RNs. The fact they are already concerned about the cash runway shows they are not making progress very fast and are now likely to run out of cash yet again before getting anywhere near break even .

For this to turn they need to sign big deals with numbers that the city can use to see how long they have to wait before breaking even.

Who would have thought after FDA approval they are back in the 40's just shows what a mess AN has made of running the company . Great scientist poor CEO imo .

So if there is a distressed seller, why are the company’s broker not in contact with them in order to do a clean out transaction to place the stock in firm institutional hands?
