08/8/2018 10:23 | UK Outlook for Wednesday 22 Aug 2018 to Wednesday 5 Sep 2018: Through the remainder of August there is a trend towards more generally settled conditions for many, with areas of high pressure likely to dominate the weather, bringing drier conditions with them. The north and northwest are likely to see the driest of the weather, whilst the south may see occasional showers or thunderstorms at times. Some occasionally unsettled spells are probable, but there are signs that the prevailing weather pattern will promote more settled than average conditions across the UK. Temperatures are likely to be above normal, and many areas may become warm or very warm, with an increased risk of hot spells also returning. Updated: 03:07 on Wed 8 Aug 2018 BST | keithfox
08/8/2018 10:20 | Looks like they are doing a bit at the European games too. There is no doubt they have done very well over the last 6 weeks but what we really want now is a heatwave mark 2 to develop in a week or 2. Am working on it. | keithfox
08/8/2018 09:55 | I've been giving it a few prods. | keithfox
08/8/2018 09:46 | Was thinking the same. Something is afoot! | valuehustle
08/8/2018 09:21 | This stock never ceases to amaze Just when you think it has gone to sleep, it comes back to life ! Fascinating | ignoble
31/7/2018 13:19 | I think it was corrected soon after. | keithfox
31/7/2018 12:44 | The strange one was the trade of a few days ago ....500 at 600p Way above the market but why ? Another Sykes mystery | ignoble
31/7/2018 12:16 | I'm currently seeing a spread of 561-589 using dummy trades. | cockerhoop
31/7/2018 12:06 | I reckon all these 560 and 565p's are sells as I can't buy any for less than 589p. | keithfox
31/7/2018 11:55 | A lot of the trades marked as sells are buys. Not that you will ever get huge volume because there are only around 6 million shares in free float. Many of those will be in long term holdings collecting the juicy dividend yeay on year. | shauney2
31/7/2018 11:44 | Someone tell me about share prices. They have gone up 75p in 2 days but not because of massive buying it seems. Have the mm's got inside info on their trading or are they noticing the blindingly obvious and seeing they are selling all their gear. If that's the case why aren't more people buying and why are quite a few selling? Don't really understand, anyone out their get it? | keithfox
30/7/2018 13:12 | True. Ad infinitum for a limited period! | keithfox
30/7/2018 12:28 | I think 'ad infinitum' may be a tad optimistic Keith :-) ......and not ideal for the heating side of the business! | cockerhoop
30/7/2018 11:39 | Looking like London above 90F again by Friday and staying very warm the following week and ad infinitum possibly. They are going to sell out methinks and have a full fleet out on hire. This is all straight to the bottom line as the equipment and staff are already paid for. Can't get over the fact that they are selling the Polar Wind Plus for £649 + VAT, I bought one 2 weeks ago for £449 + VAT. | keithfox
30/7/2018 08:32 | Good Morning Gentlemen Interesting times and pleasant to see | ignoble
27/7/2018 13:31 | Yup, looks like that 600p earlier on wasn't too far off the mark. I noticed the Netherlands website doesn't have any for sale now, they are all marked out of stock. | keithfox
27/7/2018 12:57 | And we're off :-) | cwa1
27/7/2018 11:25 | Odd ??? Unless someone somewhere pushed the wrong button , lol | ignoble
27/7/2018 11:15 | Did that trade really go through at 600p? | keithfox
27/7/2018 08:28 | Asy have pulled off a bit of a masterstroke handing out those fans. Lots of twitter and IG coverage. ASY also showing they are ordering new units to hire out. In their measured tone I think they might point out they will have had a good summer. | horndean eagle
27/7/2018 08:24 | Needs must | ignoble
27/7/2018 08:20 | Only mild itching so far, op was on Tuesday, cast comes off next Tuesday so hopefully the itching doesn't get worse between now and then! Have contemplated various implements as a contingency including bbq prong thing haha | valuehustle
27/7/2018 08:02 | Crikey Has your arm started to itch yet. Everything that I remember about having a cast is when it starts to itch. Rulers , Chopsticks anything to get at it Must be even worse in the heat ! | ignoble
27/7/2018 07:59 | Feel the same, our dogs and cats are suffering as am I - an arm in a cast in this weather isn't too pleasant :-) will console myself that this will eventually have a positive effect on ASY's business and sp! | valuehustle
27/7/2018 07:43 | Must admit that I will be pleased to have a respite from the heat for a few days Really quite uncomfortable late afternoon , early evening. It is what it is ... | ignoble |
