UK Outlook for Wednesday 22 Aug 2018 to Wednesday 5 Sep 2018:

Through the remainder of August there is a trend towards more generally settled conditions for many, with areas of high pressure likely to dominate the weather, bringing drier conditions with them. The north and northwest are likely to see the driest of the weather, whilst the south may see occasional showers or thunderstorms at times. Some occasionally unsettled spells are probable, but there are signs that the prevailing weather pattern will promote more settled than average conditions across the UK. Temperatures are likely to be above normal, and many areas may become warm or very warm, with an increased risk of hot spells also returning.

Looks like they are doing a bit at the European games too. There is no doubt they have done very well over the last 6 weeks but what we really want now is a heatwave mark 2 to develop in a week or 2. Am working on it.

I'm currently seeing a spread of 561-589 using dummy trades.

I reckon all these 560 and 565p's are sells as I can't buy any for less than 589p.

A lot of the trades marked as sells are buys. Not that you will ever get huge volume because there are only around 6 million shares in free float. Many of those will be in long term holdings collecting the juicy dividend yeay on year.

Someone tell me about share prices. They have gone up 75p in 2 days but not because of massive buying it seems. Have the mm's got inside info on their trading or are they noticing the blindingly obvious and seeing they are selling all their gear. If that's the case why aren't more people buying and why are quite a few selling? Don't really understand, anyone out their get it?

True. Ad infinitum for a limited period!

I think 'ad infinitum' may be a tad optimistic Keith :-)

......and not ideal for the heating side of the business!

Looking like London above 90F again by Friday and staying very warm the following week and ad infinitum possibly. They are going to sell out methinks and have a full fleet out on hire. This is all straight to the bottom line as the equipment and staff are already paid for. Can't get over the fact that they are selling the Polar Wind Plus for £649 + VAT, I bought one 2 weeks ago for £449 + VAT.

Yup, looks like that 600p earlier on wasn't too far off the mark. I noticed the Netherlands website doesn't have any for sale now, they are all marked out of stock.

Asy have pulled off a bit of a masterstroke handing out those fans. Lots of twitter and IG coverage. ASY also showing they are ordering new units to hire out. In their measured tone I think they might point out they will have had a good summer.

Only mild itching so far, op was on Tuesday, cast comes off next Tuesday so hopefully the itching doesn't get worse between now and then! Have contemplated various implements as a contingency including bbq prong thing haha

Has your arm started to itch yet.
Everything that I remember about having a cast is when it starts to itch.
Rulers , Chopsticks anything to get at it
Must be even worse in the heat !

Feel the same, our dogs and cats are suffering as am I - an arm in a cast in this weather isn't too pleasant :-) will console myself that this will eventually have a positive effect on ASY's business and sp!
